As it says on the tin, how many are liable to be called up to the various "little" teams. Plenty of South Sea boys in this division .

I believe that Pirates will lose Matt Evans and Aaron Carpenter to Canada. They also have Brett Beukeboom on the books now, I don't know if he is part of the squad too.

I don't imagine that too many South Seas boys will be lost - with the odd notable exception feathering their nest, I would think that anyone good enough to be part of one of these squads would be playing at level one.

Presumably Bedford will lose Pritchard.

Brett Beukeboom is currently with the Canadian squad who are preparing for their Pacific Nations Cup games before they finalise their RWC squad at the beginning of August.

Vile Veikoso (Figi) John Phelan and Tyler Hotsen (Canada) are likely to be called up from the Knights squad.

Anthony Perenise, David Lemi and Jack Lam at Bristol - all for Samoa. Matthew Morgan currently with the Wales training squad. That's probably it for Bristol unless Benvenuti gets a surprise call-up for Italy.

Only Kyle Gilmour for the Titans, he's with Canada but is a new signing so we haven't had him join up with us yet.

Blimey! Carpenter still playing for Canada?
He was already an international when he first came to Cov, and that seems aeons ago!

Ah I seem to remember that name.

Canada
Carpenter - Pirates
Tiedemann - Plymouth
Beukeboom - Pirates

Tonga haven't called up most of these players but they could drop in once their based in England.

There's also a few capped home nations players who have a very slim chance, e.g. Ian Evans.

Both the Ealing Trailfinders players, Radoi  ( hooker )and Mc Clean  ( centre )are not included in the squad for next season. Both are top players and will be missed. Both played in the Championship for Ealing Trailfinders.
Ambition should be made of sterner stuff.

Ok I was a bit cheeky and included those guys from last years squads. They still made their national team based on performances in the Championship/ND1.

Didn't realise Ronnie McLean had a US cap. I knew he had some US connection but I reckon he's as English as I am!
I still fondly remember him as a ballboy in front of the Cowshed way back when.

No way Ian Evans will be called up, he has a very serious knee injury that he might not come back from.

Yeah apparently moved to England when he was 6.

Got a cap at centre against Fiji November last year, not in the squad for the Pacific Nations Cup though.

Ah, didn't realise he was actually born in the colonies. Poor boy! Wink
I'm assuming that perhaps his parents moved over there from the UK, but not sure.
I do know that his grandfather, Mike McLean, was an integral part of the brutal Phil Judd/Bert Godwin/McLean front row, so he's from impeccable stock!

Is he fixed up for the coming season yet, do we know?
