If Eddie is the problem, is juggling the players around the solution?

Well one name that hasn't been mentioned in this thread is David Ribbans from Northampton. Eddie has wrong-footed us all and brought him in to replace Courtney Lawes.

How often has Ribbans played in the back row?

This is based purely on my own observations.
During the world cup England seemed at their best when they had a more fluid interplay of backs and forwards. It seemed that the forwards were looking to offload and seek space rather than just be a battering ram. However the defeat against South Africa seems to have left some scars. It now seems that England have decided directness and physicality is the only way forward. However they dont seem to possess the power in the centres and are not dominating teams up front in the way they have done previously. Along with this is the slight change of interpretation of laws surrounding the ruck which EJ seems to think playing without the ball is a better option. I'm not sure what the answer is in terms of personnel changes, but more worryingly I'm not sure EJ has the answer to Englands current stuttering |

Ribbans is South African so he passes the most important test of suitability for Test rugby,
