Garces ruined that. How could he miss those 2 forward passes in the lead up to their first "try"?

The passes liked at by TMO and commentary team all of whom thought they were ok. TBH by that stage any sort of move was like manna from heaven compared to the slugfest that had gone before.

Agree with comments made by earlier posters as SA deserved to win BUT arguably RU will never expand its audience unless more tries are scored at this level.

Saw Bristol V Sale last night -dire. Asking people to pay £30-50 to watch that dross is taking the p.... And judging by Steve D's comments afterwards he would probably agree.

Why did England arrive late (less than one hour before kick-off)? Had this a bearing on the result?

What’s that a point for every minute delay? Vast majority of England fans I know simply accepted they were fairly beaten by a superior side. Blaming a travel delay or as others have done the referee is just sour grapes. As far as I could see it want the referee shunting them back at scrum time.

I'm not blaming anyone or anything! Just wondered why the late arrival. Having been involved in active sport for 26 yesrs I know that late arrival often has a detrimental effect on the outcome. That's all.

I have to agree, South Africa were the best team on the day - did the late arrival affect England, I would suspect it did but if they had started anything like the Semi they should have won.

Very disappointing, but well done to South Africa.
