Well finally up to date.

Well there were some shocks last week and at this time of the season with certain teams needing points some games are so hard to predict!!

So first congratulations to both of the bottom teams, Esher Clapand Loughborough StudentsClap for winning and not just winning but scoring alot of points at the time. Not the time to play anyone near the bottom as it such a tight fight at the moment and suspect this will go to the wire. There is only two points between the bottom three and then a gap of six to Cambridge (relief they won last weekend) with Birmingham Moseley one point higher up. Sale FC are not completely out of it but if pick up a couple of point they should be safe. You would say if Cambridge and Birmingham win any of their last couple of games you would think they are safe. Again who remembers a season with the bottom team on 50 points!!!!

And congratulations to Ampthill Clapfor grinding out a very tight win at the end against Rosslyn Park which almost makes it competition between Ampthill and Old Elthamiams who pick up an easy win away at Caldy. Ampthill are in the driving seat with 3 games to go but do play games against 3 teams still in the relegation dogfight and with the last game away at Loughborough students who if they are in a position still to escape relegation then who knows what will happen. Old Elthamians are playing teams who are safe but then away at Bishops Stortford who are the form team at the moment will be tough!

And congratulations also to Bishops Stortford Clapfor picking up an excellent win away at Blackheath which basically killed of any faint hope of promotion.

Now onto to the prediction table... but before we do l would like welcome Adoncov Clapto the prediction league even at this late stage!

Well with quite a few shocks it is not a week for high scores but not a surprise that 2CapitAll Clapis still leading but now only one point from meClap with Local Person Clapa further five points back.

High score of the week is jointly shared by VictorStar and Sid WheelStar with a quite good score of 18.

High climber of the week goes to SidwheelClap, Westcombe Ranger Clapand AlbionlassClap who all climbed 2 places from 11th to 9th, 14th to 12th and 19th to 17th respectively.

Low score of the week goes to SkalpyDead with a low score of 6.

Now onto this weeks games.

Well for me there are 3 standout games and l think the most crucial will be Loughborough Students v Esher. Whoever loses this game will almost be relegated (not mathmatically but it will a monumental task!). Loughborough have to be favorites but this will be a game that goes to the wire and l think it will be high scoring and will ebb and flow between both sides but one just feels with home advantage that will make the crucial difference.

It doesn't seem that long ago that Caldy were at the other end of the table but they have not had a great run and one thinks they need to get something against Darlington Mowden Park which is a hard place to pick up points at the best of times. Who knows what will happen but this will be a very very tough game for them and one feels home advantage is going to count for so much.

Last but not least is 5th from bottom Birmingham Moseley against league leaders Ampthill. Ampthill only beat Birmingham 25 to 17 in December so this not a forgone conclusion as Birmingham do need a win to nearly make themselves safe. This is hard to call particularly at this time of the season but Ampthill have been grinding out results recently while the teams around them have faltered so guessing there will be one score in this game and one just senses Ampthill may take the win.

Well best of luck to all teams this weekend! Most exciting season for a very long time with it still being open at the top and the bottom.
