Well it is almost all over and there is still there are issues to be decided at top at bottom!

No real surprises at top last week with both AmpthillClap and Old ElthamiansClap producing confusing wins at home to Sale FC and away to Bishops Stortford respectively.

And what a fabulous result by CaldyClap getting an excellent home against Rosslyn Park to keep their survival hopes alive.

And again massive congratulations to Birmingham MoseleyClap picking up tight win at relegation contenders Cambridge leaving them almost safe.

Congratulations to EsherClapwho managed to pick a high scoring tight win at home to Chinoor to keep their very slight hopes of staying up.

Ampthill are just about Champions. It would require a massive shock today for them not to be but who knows in this league.

The real battle is still at the bottom with 5 teams still in the relegation fight.
For both Loughborough Students and Esher it will require a small miracle to stay as even if they win they still rely on Cambridge and Caldy to lose and for Caldy not to pick up a bonus point.  Birmingham who play Caldy only need a point to stay up so really think it is between the bottom 4. I do not think we have ever had a season like this and with some many teams still with alot to play at the end of the season and particularly with teams normally staying up with 56 points easily!!

Well onto the Prediction league and this is going to go to the wire as well.

Congratulations first of to B CapStar for getting all the results correct! Excellent work particularly with this only being the 2nd time they have made any predictions in this league!!!

Well 2CapitAllClap not surprisingly are still in the lead but only by 3 points for me Sideline ScreamerClap with Local PersonClap a further point back.

High score of the week goes B Cap Starwith a very good score of 22.

High climber of the week is shared by SurreyBenClap and B CapClap both climbing 5 places.

Low score of the week goes to NormskiDeadwith an OK score of 8.

Well now onto the last week of games and so much to play for. Focus here has to be at the bottom and l suspect Loughborough Students which their last game of the season relying on a small miracle to stay up would not be against Ampthill who require a point to be champions. It is hard to give Loughborough Students a chance now as they really needed to get something from Plymouth last week and really have left themselves a mountain to climb. This will be high scoring contest in the sun but one feels that Ampthill who are in such good form will be a step too much for Loughborough.

And 5th bottom Birmingham who only need a point to stay up against Caldy who really need to win to stop any chance of being overtaken particularly by Cambridge. Caldy have played out of their skins the last few weeks and one feels they will be immense today but Birmingham with that crucial win away at Cambridge last week might just be a little too street wise for Caldy. Feel this is game that will go to the end with one score in it.

Sale FC v Cambridge is another interesting one as Cambridge who are 3rd from bottom have to win really to stay up and l suspect in their minds Sale FC have nothing to play for so one suspects that Cambridge will start on the front foot looking to score as many tries as they can early on. One feels that Cambridge will win this game and put pressure on the teams above. But again with this league who knows.

And last but not least Blackheath v Esher.  Esher with a great win at home to Chinnor have kept their mathmetical hopes of staying up alive and even if they somehow win at Blackheath they would rely on Sale FC being Cambridge and Caldy not picking up a point away at Birmingham Moseley. We have had miracles before but one feels this might be a little beyond dreaming but again who knows!!

Well best of luck to all teams today!! and Enjoy the Sun!!

The matches are next week I believe!

Also it seems there is no combination of results that can save Loughborough. They are already relegated?
