seen playing for Caldy yesterday .Wink

Obviously shows how weak Caldy's squad must be if they needed to loan players for a sevens tournament!

Sorry Elma I believe he asked to play. Just so he could feel what it was like to win. But as we have a strong squad we made your captain who is a very good player the kit man that was the best we could do. I hoped it helped

So he asked to play and you decided playing a ringer was better than blooding a youngster. Is it all about the win these days at Caldy, and I thought they were proud of their player development!

Pen15 seems to think he did and he's normally pretty accurate.

Me thinks the lady doth protest too much.

I think there is more chance of Louis answering a call from Gatland than attracted to a return to Waterloo sadly.

yup he played and why not he is mate's with loads of the Caldy lads and the chance to play a bit of 7s with no pressures is a no brainer.Jack is a true loyal Waterloo boy who has put the club 1st in the past .Made up for the lad to be made captain .Louis to Waterloo ha ja more chance of rumble being positive

Sadly pen 15 - your response appears to be consistent with much of the leadership - a distinct lack of any ambition......"we can put out a 15" (even now I am beginning to wonder)!!!

Actually rumble I completely agree with you for once. Pen15 is consistent with the leadership in that we still own our ground and have a thriving mini and junior section. If some of the old leadership had stayed in charge we wouldn't have that!

I for one would much rather be a level 6 club with no ambition rather than a club who had "ambition" but was unable to cut their cloth accordingly and became another one to add onto the list of clubs that don't exist any more.

The best situation of course is a club that is ambitious but not willing to jeopardize their future for short term gain.

How exactly do you think the club should change to be "ambitious" but not so that we become another mounts bay?

We are finally in the black again, we are spending within our means and have a long term sponsorship agreement. I think that sounds pretty good to me...

Not surprisingly, I'm with Elma. In fact I'm quite excited about the new season.
