I was pleased to hear about Freeman and Jaylo, but last I heard they hadn't signed as yet. I don't know if anything has changed in the last week or so.
As for the forwards I don't think we have signed any major lumps and the game plan is being based on a small quick pack.
Suppose we'll just have to wait and see.

All I heard Mersey was they are able to sign but hadn't as yet. This may have changed as my source told me this a couple of weeks ago.

It is unlikely with no 'retainer' being paid that you will see any new signings from outside the area until later in the summer.

when will martin o'keefe be fit again?
will rob o'donnell be at waterloo?
those two would be good enough for most sides so then just a bit of back up is required

Cakes isn't going to be fit until Christmas at the earliest. He can't do anything exercise until late October. That was from the horse's mouth.

Should have said this in last post. As far as I am aware Rob O'Donnell is currently not available for Waterloo. However, this may change or it may not. If I hear anything I'll post the news.

Rob signed for Sale before last season I believe and was playing last year as a loan player.

Been out of touch over the last few weeks in the sunnier climes of the Canaries! In answer to the above questions
Rob was always a Sale player on loan to us. He is still a Sale player.
Martin's knee is bad, but I believe he was treated very badly by the outgoing DOR and the current coach, so he was pretty disenchanted with waterloo (not the first player!).
Dan Loader has played mostly at wing and full back for Waterloo...He will be a good signing at Fylde and should know most of their team and backs moves as they are all ex - Waterloo players!

At the moment I don't think anyone would take a chance on signing Cakes due to his injury. However if he does regin his match fitness there will be a number of clubs interested in him as big props with experience are scarce.

I do think James Hall is staying, he has been training since returning from holiday. Looking very fit by all accounts. Some whispers about second rows are getting a little louder. |
