Bridge The Cam, Ian H is not concerned with the acuracy of the table. I believe he is looking to turn the knife into the Waterloo coaches and current players.

Loo had a very bad day at the office, that said I do think a number of other sides will have equally bad days against a strong and physical Blaydon side.

The waterloo No10 went down before the game, meaning they had no kicking game, and little co-ordination in the backs.

will get better

A truely terrible performance. The game was over before half time Blaydon had the bonus point in the bag and didn't have to try in the second half. Only Jalo and Ince deserve any kind of credit for Waterloo. Its going to be a long hard season. Its intersesting to go back to our coachs comments in the local press at the end of last season ‘Shambolic’ Waterloo set for shake-up'

The head coach will stay on for a further year, taking total control of senior rugby at the club while insisting mistakes made this last season will not be repeated next term.

“We started far too late last year and the side was no were near prepared for the opening weeks of the season,” he said. “That will not happen this time as we aim to hit the ground running from game one.”

Well we certainly hit the ground running, running back behind our own sticks.

Well done coach great recruitment and training, your the one in charge so sort it, your a joke

Your right Big D a terrible performance.  The coach certainly has away with people, Local legend Peter Buckton has stepped down from his role as 2nd team coach this season. So add his name to a long list that has been forced out over the past few seasons.  We need these people

The press seem to expect Cakes to have recovered from his serious injury.be match fit, have the ability to hold up the scrum.make tackles, score tries and take the kicks at goal. All this with a coach who has shown no inclination to encourge him in his rehab.Loyalty is a two way street.

I couldn't agree more with that post, is this guy superman or something?!

Im not saying he isn't a top quality player, he must be to get such a reaction. However I can't help thinking the guy is going to have all this added pressure whilst still having that nagging feeling we all get when we play our first game back from injury.

And in all honesty it's just making him a target for other teams, not of course to try and replicate his injury but to negate the way he may influence the team, the set piece the pick and go etc.

When Combe come to Waterloo I would expect them to now be fully aware of any threat he poses and make even more of an effort to make sure he remains as ineffective as possible.

If things are as bad as the have sounded on this thread I would think the Waterloo management would want to keep such a return under wraps. Or maybe the Waterloo management can use this guys return to deflect criticism from their own backyard?

Apologise if any of that seems ill informed, im just going on what I have seen on here and in the press. I hope you guys have a competitive season and we can't judge the outcome of the league based on week 1 Smile
