Fylde up by 10-9 at HT, with fine try by Royle. Big smile

Final score - Macc 33 Fylde 10 Ouch

Visitors started with prop at lock (Atkinson dropped out this morning as wife gives birth), ended with centre at flanker and lineout jumpers King and Banks off injured. Decimated at the end with Macc stepping up pressure and dominating 2nd half. Macc also had an injury, maybe a serious one, to Baines? Not sure about this.

Scrappy win for caldy and the score flatters hull they scored all there points from silly caldy mistakes but they shouldnt be near the bottom of the table there 9, 6 and 8 were very good !

For caldy set piece was good not missing rawlings that much and smithson was outstanding as were lyon and merseys mate sewell and arnold sneaked over for his 11 of the season !

Any reports from students and macc both great results!

'Gate v 'Field

Very close match which 'Gate edged despite assistance from Mr Rob Sheard for Huddersfield.

His  most bizzare decision was almost the final play of the game when having awarded a penalty to 'Field they elected to kick for goal - would win them the match so quite the correct choice, but having teed up and placed the ball a 'Field player decided to take a short one and try to run it.  Can't do that says Mr Sheard take the kick again!!!!!Confused

Also Ed Smities 100th try for gate; he can retire nowClap

Wow!, that Chris Johnson can't half kick - and a long way as wellClap

Macclesfield looked very handy, although a little lightweight up front?

Fylde whilst playing well upto half time just could not stay with Macc in second half and suffered several injuries which did not help.
