For the Maidenhead guys, thought I might come your way and give you a shout as LS have a free weekend and I’m in the area. Any recommendations welcome. I will be on foot. 🥃

Old Exile, you’d be most welcome. Note that we have a double header tomorrow, with our 2nd XV playing Abbey at 1pm, followed by the 1st XV match v Hornets at 3pm.

I shall look forward to my day out. I am working on the basis that there are no watering holes other than the pub opposite the station (whose name escapes me), to distract my travel.

🥃🥃

Good to see a club making an early call and communicating well.

And the final scores on the doors;

Bournemouth 28 - 7 Exmouth
Bracknell 19 - 23 Dings Crusaders
Brixham 27 - 27 Ivybridge
Maidenhead 38 - 21 Hornets
Newbury Blues 10 - 21 Camborne
Newton Abbot P - P Lydney
Weston-super-Mare 37 - 27 Cleve

Dings now have a 15 point at the top and its Bournemouth in 2nds place but the postponed matches are building up and will change things.

The bottom of the table is becoming intriguing with only 5 points between 7th and 12th place. Every game is becoming crucial..

Cheers

It’s just like pulling teeth.
Bernie knows who I am but has promised that the secret stays secret.
As I’ve said I affiliate to nobody but wish everybody good fortunes and luck to all.
He was clever to work out who I am as I have left clues as we have gone a long.
More will follow but when I’m not sure.
I intend to have fun and entertain if I can and hopefully not upset too many.
This is a great league with a few characters and some great clubs.
Your Club Dings has certainly set the bar high and my opinion is that you are heading to Nat 2, good luck.
I will pay your Club a visit and will I let my guard down, you never know.
So I’ll keep baiting you keep guessing.

Spanner in the works this week was the draw at Brixham nobody saw that coming. Few backed Camborne to beat Newbury despite their lowly position. 8 top scorers with 4, Clap. TRFTRF & Big Mac holding up the rest up with only 2. Good to see NAB's making the call early. Chipping Man stays at the top with his 4 and Sidelined going back to 2nd place on his own. Blub sneaks up the league with Surrey Ben predicting again and Seagulls seemingly flown the nest back to the sea for a 2nd week.
The league looks like this.
Chipping Man  89
Sidelined 88
Spiko123 87
Red Pete 85
Town 84
Trftrf 81
Simba 81
Front Jumper 81
Roman Relic 80
BrixPhil 80
Big Mac 79
NeilSKN 79
Braders 1875 78
Maidsboy  78
Fat Bear 77
Jester 10 76
Seaside Mafia 76
Blub 69
SurreyBen 68
Seagulls 67
