no I wouldn't either, EJ would be a good Lions coach but I don't see it happening. Joe Schmidt is probably the favourite at present. even as an Englishman i would like to see Gregor Townsend given a role in the coaching staff, Scotland play a style of rugby that would really trouble South Africa IMO. of course the mystery over 2021 is what sort of SA team the Lions will be facing. if the whole row over transformation continues then it may be easy work for the Lions

He was offered one last time round, but declined it as it was a 'second in command', rather than a head job.

He should've taken it and would've probably finished ahead of Howley by the end of the tour.
