my predictions:
Ireland will beat Scotland - Scotland will play a lot better than they did in Cardiff but I think Ireland will play a style of rugby (direct and physical) that Scotland may struggle to deal with. Ireland by 9 points.

England will beat France - Surely they'll be a reaction from England after that poor display at Murrayfield. hope Eddie Jones makes some changes in the back row and in the forwards in general. England by 10 points.

Wales will beat Italy - Italy were poor against France and if Wales play that expansive style that they have been doing so far I can see a very big score from the Welsh. Wales by 30.

I think Ireland will beat Scotland by two score possibly 10 points.

England could be under pressure and I think a win by 5 is on the cards.

Wales to beat Italy by 20+

Conditions and injuries could still play a part.

Dublin forecast to be WET, which you would imagine would play in Ireland’s favour. Both squads close to, but not at full strength. In Scotland’s case quite a few short of any form of match fitness, far less Test Match fitness. Powder dry for now, till I see what the ‘Toonie Tombola’ comes up with in terms of selection.

I think Ireland and Wales will both get decent wins from this round.

I'm concerned about England's selections, especially at back row.
I think Lawes looks out of place (and I feel sorry for the lad having to play out of position).
It's too late for Eddie now but looks like the inclusion of other English qualified 7s (e.g.Armand (Exeter)) in the wider squad would have had benefits. Robshaw works very hard but isn't an international class 7 anymore (if he ever was)

Also of concern is Watson's lack of form against Scotland.
In addition Ford is off the pace at 10, 12, 13 of Farrell, Te'o and Daly/Joseph would look better to me.

If we are very lucky we might squeeze a win but I'm not confident.

I have to say I share some of your concerns. I think Eddie is being quite stubborn. he should've changed the back row because it didn't work v Scotland. I would've also dropped Itoje who looks well short of form. I said we'd win by 10 but now I've seen the two teams i'm not so sure.

Well, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 to win comfortably. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 to edge 🇫🇷 in a dog fight. I think 🇮🇪 will beat 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 but not as comfortably as most expect. GT has rewarded form over reputation I’m pleased to see, so much will depend on who gets on the right side of Wayne Barnes at the breakdown.

If Scotland beat Ireland tomorrow it will be a bigger shock than the win over England. Ireland are odds on favourites. As for the other games, the England v France game could go either way and maybe home advantage will be the key deciding factor. Wales to win comfortably against Italy.

beating Ireland in Dublin would be a feat for Scotland but they're definitely capable of it. just think Ireland may have too much physicality for them. my position on England is quite clear, if we lose to this French team then they're should be serious questions asked about where we're going under Eddie Jones. we need to put France away.

Maybe DKF you need to consider Eddie Jones future but not my problem. 😎

I agree. that was an utterly pathetic effort today. absolutely dreadful it was. just no go-forward in the pack and the backs looked way off. our defence was better than it was v Scotland. oh and the breakdown was shambolic as well, all in all not a great day for England.

Agreed - but haven't we signed EJ up to  a longer contract ? He's a stubborn coach but has to change now otherwise we will repeat 2015.

Both Ireland and Wales appear to have sorted out some sort of production line in terms of developing understudies whereas we don't appear to have top class players coming through in key positions such as sh and open side.

I have to say I watched Wales v Italy yesterday and what struck me was the simply monstrous gap that has opened up between Italy and the rest of the teams. A Welsh team with 10 changes and playing in 2nd gear still managed to easily beat Italy. to me Italy are not deserving of their place in the 6N anymore, when they lose to Scotland it will be 3 whitewashes in a row, one 6 Nations win since 2013, 16 consecutive 6 Nations defeats. Georgia should now be in the 6 nations. Italy have had nearly 20 years and have barely improved. Georgia over that time have improved at a rate of knots, I can't see the merit of keeping Italy in it anymore.

In a phrase "away trip".

Rome or Tbilisi?

Which one do you think everyone fancies?

Theres a lot of truth in this. However its worth pointing out that Georgia didn't win the ENC last year, Romania did. With that Georgia wouldn't have progressed without the competition of those teams they play year in year out, and they do have a debt of sorts to that league. They should stay where they are or look at entire new competition.

The 6 nations isn't a closed shop its simply a stand alone competition with no obligation for promotion or relegation.

And fyi Tiblisi is pretty awesome. Certainly different, but a stunning place to visit.

Those Georgians respect rugby's old traditions - scrummaging, singing and drinking! Tiblisi is twinned with Bristol as well.
