But not the match where you saw what was happening apparently.

Will,

In fairness to Robb, all supporters have a slightly, or in some cases biased, view on how well Sir has officiated. ES regularly grumbles and he is told to be out of order. He and I have different approaches. So...

EJ to his credit didn’t complain. SCW and Greenwood reckoned Owens got it right. But.....

The most next important game will be refereed by Wayne Barnes in Dublin. Now I didn’t like him much when he started out, but I would agree he’s the pick of the bunch right now. Clear, decisive and communicates excellently.

🥃🥃

I agree about Wayne Barnes, he refereed very well on Friday. he should get the Champions Cup final this season instead of Nigel Owens.

Hats off to Barclay who said that they changed their breakdown tactics after five minutes when they realised Owens was going to allow the defending side to compete. For some reason England didn't notice this ....

Hardly lacking experience up front with Hartley,Cole,Robshaw,Lawes and Launchberry - we do lack a specialist at the breakdown for reasons I don't really understand.
