Still not sure how we can be to this point without clarity on the venue for the Final. Would not be amazed if it was magically held at the Madstad.

Any idea on attendance levels?
Judging by previous interest in this competition, Old Deer Park would make a suitable venue for the final. Ask them nicely and they may even put a hog roast on for you.

Well, Ealing managed 450 for the home semifinal, so a neutral venue for an end of season match that means nothing? Fingers crossed for triple figures?

12008 would've been good.
1208 is truly awful.

RFU. Pi$$-up in a brewery.
(Hope that's a wind-up CPK, but I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised).

Given the interest how about Rosslyn Park.
Should be plenty big enough - and if you are lucky you might get a local turning up to watch.

Isn't the venue decided in the same way as the B&I was? Best seeded team gets home advantage and keeps it.through QF and SF, If they're beaten, the winners take their seeding. That was how we got the final in the B&I against Wus a few years ago.
Winning isn't everything, it just makes the beer taste better

The Siam Cup kick off at St Peter on 11 May is at 4.30pm which would allow the Championship Cup final to kick off at around 2pm as a warm up game and would guarantee a huge crowd to see it.
Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.

Let’s look at the possible scenarios for the final and likely crowds.
    1) 1500-2000 at a neutral ground
    2) 2000-2500 rattling round the Madjeski
    3) 2000-2500 packing out Vallis Way
The numbers may be a little optimistic all round but there can be no doubt which option would best provide a fitting atmosphere for a cup final!
Speak softly, but carry a big stick.

Ealing Trailfinders play London Irish the last game of the season in the league. It is at the Madejeski stadium on the Saturday 27 April.

The final is in May , presumably the week after. I would think that according to the rules of the competition that the `best interest `would be to hold the final at Vallis Way..........admittedly I am a tad biased.

The Tournament Organiser will take the decision on the location of the final venue with regard to the best interests of the Clubs participating in the competition and other commercial issues.
Ambition should be made of sterner stuff.
