Hoffee there's nothing jammy about winning 14 out of 15 cup ties πŸ† Maybe if your team had done this , you would be in a very lucky position πŸ™Š Just like to say good luck πŸ€to both teams on Sunday & hope we have another cracker of a gameπŸ‰.πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬

Great to See Tommy Bell back on the bench for his first appearance of the season after a long spell on the sidelines with an achilles injury.

I don't really know about the cup regs, do you get home ties if you win a lot or is it just a random pick?

Looks like we are giving it a go after all. Still not expecting a W though.
That's easy for you to say.

I hate to say this as a Doncaster supporter but I fancy your chances of beating Irish.
Just watch out in case the corporal tips you to win which is the kiss of death for Yorkshire teams

I saw Irish lose their last cup semi final at home a couple of years ago so it could easily happen again on Sunday.

Just to edit my last post we've won 15 /16 , and I think you'll find it is worked out that it is seeded . So basically the more you win the & more bonus pts you get makes you higher in the seedings which then gives you the advantage . I believe the final this year maybe at a neutral venue.

Ah my mistake, I always thought they were just chosen at random, apologies. And I think I heard the final is at Franklin's Gardens?

I know that the Tyrell's final is there this year afyer being at Ealing last year. Suspect that the champ cup final would rattle around Franklin Gardens even worse.

Ealing Trailfinders team to play Cornish Pirates in the Championship Cup Semi Final on Sunday 24th February at Trailfinders Sports Club:
A very strong squad put out by Ealing, with notable returns from injury in the form of Durutalo and finally club captain Sam Dickinson. I like the use of David Johnston at 13 - he did well there filling in as an injury sub the last few weeks. Seems to fit his physical style.

15 Will Harries 14 Seb Stegmann 13 David Johnston 12 Harry Sloan 11 James Cordy Redden 10 Laurence May 9 Jordan Burns 1 Alex Lundberg 2 Matt Cornish 3 Mark Tampin 4 Sam Dickinson 5 Harry Casson 6 Kieran Murphy 7 Rohan O’Regan 8 Rayn Smid Β©

Replacements:

16 Alun Walker 17 Jordan Els 18 Elliot Millar Mills 19 Jordan Onojaife 20 Andrew Durutalo 21 Ryan Foley 22 Craig Willis

We're going to get hammered. Pirates have nowhere near that level of physicality. It was our problem last weekend and it's not going to change.

In my opinion the sub front row is stronger than the starting front row.

Brilliant news that Sam Dickinson is back. He was injured in the pre- season game against Harlequins. He is a real leader and could make a considerable difference to our pack.
Ambition should be made of sterner stuff.

Ealing (4T) 27-21 (3T) Pirates at HT
Festival stuff at Vallis Way, a bit like BaBas on speed. Ealing gift Pirates three early tries and then realise that there’s a try line at the other end as well. Pirates down to13 on yellow cards.

As opposed to Pirates demonstrating a complete inability to stay onside ...

Pirates really are awful, embarrassing to concede 53 points against anyone.
