Also

"There is no seeding for the draw, which will be made at random, so the Knights pool stage ranking will not have any effect on whether we are drawn at home or away."

Why weren't the semis drawn at the same time as the quarters (a la ERC) giving clubs and their supporters the maximum amount of time to make arrangements?

13/14/15 March, as agreed between the teams.
That's easy for you to say.

I see that the B&I Cup is attracting its usual amount of interest. Although I am an advocate of the competition it only has a value if it creates interest which it clearly does not!

To an extent, it's the nature of cup competitions, but I really do think that the organising committee deserve to be tarred and feathered for their lack of success in promoting the competition! A regular Google search for "british and irish cup" throws up no news other than the fixtues / results on the RFU website. A Google News search only throws up one relevant article (about the Worcester match) in among articles about cricket, Irish politics and other rugby articles! Maybe our resident journalist can tell us if any press releases at all have been put out about the forthcoming semi-finals.

Sky were trailing the B&I Cup final at 5pm on that day during the Pirates - Roth game on Sunday, so I think that's effectively confirmation.
