Sorry, cheap shot ---- couldn't resist.
NEWT is an acronym, it stands for North East Worcestershire Town. My views, not necessarily my Club's

mentioned in an earlier thread that he's either retired or gone to Kidderminster Carolians, who knows. To check anything regarding registered players, all clubs will have someone who has registration access online to registered players. Ask them. Before you ask, I don't.

Neil Davies and Paul Davies have both moved to Chinnor.
Nick Walton is joining Nick Adams at Stourbridge.
Leigh Hinton and Ben Buxton are strongly rumoured to have retired, whilst Andy Vilk is rumoured to be back in Italy.
Doesn't leave many for pre season training starting next week!

With the obvious and  recently publicised issues at RL, some  poor blighter has got one heck of a job trying to convince players to join and replace those that have left.

I certainly don't envy that person.

So I've done some digging.
Leigh Hinton and Ben Buxton are not confirmed as retiring.
The Stourbridge contigent seems to be true. Some big losses there.
Who is Danny Wright? If it is the 2nd row he is awesome. No news of him at Cov yet.
Fenwick Wilson and Ade Hales are at Aberdeen. 40+ tries disappeared right there, and I think Wilson was ex sarries academy.
Fraser Tait is not at Sutton, although I believe he was Player of the season, and amongst the stars at Lions that is no mean feat.
Neil Davies and Mountford at Chinnor. Great signings if they want to survive N2.
Rust - ??
Andy Vilk is mentioned on as joining Calvisano. Massive loss after regaining his England 7s shirt.
Sam Raven - no news
Harry Ellis is off to Aus to study. Brown training with bees. 2 young talents gone.

I read before about Adam Canning. Not confirmed at Kenilworth although would be a solid asset to any National League club.

Who is left?? Looking through their player profiles on the website, what about the likes of Pete Wackett and Gareth Hardy, ex Leeds. Dan Oselton, ex Moseley. Ben Gollings!!!

Such an abundance of talent out of the door already.

Feel for the supporters and members.

Danny Wright is a second row, and Coventry's announcements so far have been very light in that area. As most of the announcements so far have been backs, and three new props were announced this week, I wouldn't be surprised to see some lock announcements very soon - possibly next week from Coventry.

This is more like the list that I expected to see, 20 players gone and the rest to follow. Even if some money comes into the club I think it will be impossible to attract new players.

I see in this weeks Rugby Advertiser (URL's galore on other threads) that a spokesman for the club states that only 2 players have definitely left the club namely Ade Hales and Andy Vilk. Interesting to note that both are no longer playing in England so presumably their registrations were processed sooner rather than later to ensure eligibility was confirmed in time for the new season in Scotland and Italy.
I suspect the registration transfer forms of players moving away will start flooding in during the next 4 weeks.

I am afraid I may upset someone here.

What a muppet the "Spokesman" is.

The list we have seen shows over 20 players have left.

I do wonder who holds Mr Gollings registration as he has been quiet, but to all those at Rugby Lions we do not expect Mr Gollings will be at the Kick Off on 1st September unless MA surprises us with a new Genie trick in the coming weeeeeeeeeeeeeeks.

Lets all wait until after the meeting on Friday at HQ when Mr Owen and his Team face the music and are quized by the RFU.

That may be the defining moment for next season for 16 Clubs at Level 4.  A 16 Team League or a 15 Team League?

Well MA what will you add to this situation? Silence or some other Funds will be arriving in two weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeks!
