Looking forward to a long train journey from Gatwick to Roth on Saturday morning and hopefully a snooze on the journey back that evening after an odd glass of Iron & Steel. Mike Hudson managed the Titan's game at St Peter last season which was a cracking match with nine tries and much tighter than the final score line suggests. He also managed the pre-season match at St Peter against Coventry and so far this season has managed three Championship matches (R7 Notts v Mond, R4 Pirates v LW & R3 Titans v LS) and according to statbunker has given out 5 yellow cards.

Only 1 game it town this weekend the might Mond play the kilted tenants
why it is on at 7pm ? not a clue, though one might guess
Some people have questioned why are we in this division
This game is one of the reasons why

Longest  away fixture for the Mond
We pay to listen to a strangulated cat with octopus legs on our own ground
A few old scores to settle with the auld enemy

One might guess: I guess it's connected to the internationals M728. If I was in town this w/e (rather than the welcoming confines of Clifton Lane, which is one of my favourite away trips) then a couple of pints, England v Fiji, a post-match curry and then the 'RAG derby' would be a pretty decent way of spending Saturday

I confess to also being caught out by the original post and looked at the timing of trains to Richmond after the match at CL to see if I could make it to the RAG for some or all of a match on Saturday evening. Sadly not to be this time.

Islander - three Championship fixtures are being played on Friday night and presumably they are all being played then to ensure they do not clash with the numerous International matches the following day and given the proximity of the RAG to Twickenham it would adversely affect the numbers attending the LS V Richmond game if it was played on the Saturday.

Each of the three Championship matches on Friday night kick off at different times, but all are within the permitted times for Championship matches for a Friday night fixture, so I have no idea what point Member 728 is trying to make about 7pm for a local derby match kick off time, as on a whole his post was rather incoherent and clearly others mistook what he was attempting to say. Hopefully he will elaborate for all of our benefit.

Watch Out - The Scottish Phoenix Club is on the Up!!

London Scottish 2-2 Richmond -Although 4-1 either way more likely - sorry I'm missing this one

Nottingham 1-4 Ealing Could go either way but I fancy Trailfinders to grind out a win

Yorkies 5–2 Knights -Should be a cracking game between two quality teams

London Welsh 4-0 Bedford LW forwards to give them the edge

Cornish Pirates 4-1 London Irish -Home advantage to be crucial on what could be a wet and windy day

Titans 1-4 Jersey I hope that Jersey forwards will give them the edge.

Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.

London Scottish          5 – 0    Richmond...I have seen LS play this season. Obliteration springs to mind. I don't care if it is a 'cross the field' derby.

Nottingham                 4 – 1    Ealing...IF Nottingham turn up and play as we know that they can, then this will be a good game. Home advantage and on grass should help the cause. Tight home win.

Leeds                          4 – 1    Doncaster...Game of the week. Yorkshire derby to keep it tight, but YC to come out on top.

London Welsh             5 – 0    Bedford...LW still looking good.

Cornish Pirates           0 – 5    London Irish...Favorite tag not mis-placed. Comfortable win for the visitors...as usual.

Rotherham                  1 – 4    Jersey...For those thinking that the recently reported financial snags that Jersey are enjoying will affect their on-field performance, think again. The only thing stopping the Reds from a handsome victory is the ever extending injury list....oh, and a small matter of Rotherham Titans. Jersey to win a tight game for the purists.

At the moment the forecast doesn't look too bad. It might change of course.
I'd love you to be right with your prediction, but LI will have to have an off day and we'll have to play out of our skins.

LI are overdue an off day, Pirates regularly play out of their skins and wet & windy weather in Penzance in November is hardly out of  the question. Keep the faith Stalwart I reckon Pirates will up their game and win by 3-5 points.
