Struggle to identify any of tomorrow's Richmond team as regular first teamers except for Damant on the bench. No doubt they'll give a good account of themselves.I'll be there to watch.

So last round of group games. Most games are still important to those wishing to progress to the knockout stages, but here are my guestimates:

Donny 5 - 0 Nottingham ... I'm not so sure that Nottingham's heart is in this competition and as they cannot qualify I expect a comfortable home win.
YC 5 - 0 Coventry ... YC's new recruits to continue to 'bed in' and put on an impressive display in what I think will be an entertaining game.
Ealing 5 - 0 Richmond ... Ealing need to get 5 points if they are thinking about topping this group and I think that they will get it with aplomb.
LS 0 - 5 Jersey ... Jersey to bounce back after last weeks defeat. LS are a good side and will provide a decent test, but I expect the Islanders to get the 5 points and a few tries that they need to top the group. Actually, this could be a good game as it will be all out attack from the visitors, giving TBP's away means nothing at this stage...try fest.
Pirates 4 - 1 Irish ... Tie of the round. Always a really hard away game at The Mennaye and I don't think that LI will enjoy the trip. Having said that, if the pitch is at all heavy, then this could play into the hands of the Exiles powerful pack. We shall see, but I am hoping for a home win rather than expecting....you never know your luck at a party as they say!!
Hartpury 0 - 5 Bedford ... Hartpury already out, Bedford need the win. Comfortable 5 pointer for the visitors.

Good luck everyone and hopefully nothing more than bruises in battle this week.

I thought Notts could still qualify.
Bedford 11
Donny 11
Notts 8
If its the top 8 then they can surpass us by winning at Castle Park and stopping us getting enough points.

Ealing Trailfinders team to play Richmond on Saturday 15th December at Trailfinders Sports Club: Solid squad. Ealing need to score a lot of tries, so slightly surprised not to see a few of their speedier players, and sad to see Kieran Murphy knocked out by injury so soon. Jordan Els has been a great find for us in the forwards though.

15 David Johnston 14 Seb Stegmann 13 Pat Howard 12 Harry Sloan 11 James Cordy Redden 10 Craig Willis 9 Ryan Foley 1 Jordan Els 2 Matt Cornish 3 Elliot Millar Mills 4 Ben West 5 Harry Casson 6 Jordy Reid 7 Andrew Durutalo 8 Rayn Smid (c)

Replacements:

16 Alun Walker 17 Alex Lundberg 18 George Davis 19 Jordan Onojaife 20 Rohan O’Regan 21 Jordan Burns 22 Laurence May

Also - Can I curse the RFU for forcing this game to start at 1400? I'll miss the first half thanks to prior commitments now. :(

It’s going to be atrocious weather,Gerg . Richmond have ‘rested’ just about their entire first team squad so even if there’s a hurricane if Ealing can’t score four tries on that enlarged tennis court I’ll be surprised. I’ll be shivering somewhere watching.

Enjoy Ps! Ealing will be setting their sights a bit higher than 4 tries - they need to score 5 more than Jersey to level the try-count. And Reds up against what looks like a strong Scots' outfit who have 15 days off after today and look to be targeting a home win to pep up their festivities.

Weather looks like being 'prominent' today at all games. Raining all night in Cornwall by the look of it, arrived Hartpury several hours ago and London more recently. Oop north? Some snow too, although I see Roth v Blackheath passed a pitch inspection before the visitors set off. Good luck all...

Son travelling back from Donny today, hopefully it will be a bit warmer in the Island, but still truly horrid out there. Feel for his girlfriend as she will be working at the Donny game this afternoon....not very nice!

Stay safe and warm everyone.

HT Reds lead at LS 6-7 but then fall behind 9-7 early in 2nd period. As things stand LI Reds & Ealing would all have 25 points...
