I was avoiding that particular issue Rob, for fear of upsetting folk 😉

This rule and the penalty try ones are very inconsistently applied but I suppose refs like most humans are frail.

Or the tackle below the armpit that leads to a yellow card - very strange interpretations indeed.

The one bit of consistancy we saw was that he was inconsistant to both sides. Random might be a better word.

Top man Brizzer and although it would be an awful result for the league I am crazily going on 22nd and believe Jersey can stuff Ealing on their day and win - but still hope Ealing push Irish all the way. I struggle in predicting a Jersey loss which is a bit sad given all the practice I've had but on 22nd I predict jersey will narrowly win but both sides will score 4 tries. Could the rfu stream that match. - please?

( QUOTE ) Brizzer

on Ealings plastic and in calmer conditions, Jersey will take Ealing apart in the backs in 2 weeks time for the league game. 5 points to nil to Jersey, you heard it here first!!!.

I would never say that Ealing Trailfinders would `stuff` or take the Jersey backs apart ever !. All of the games over many years have been incredibly close and `stuffing` and `taking apart` has never happened to my recollection .

The 22nd December league match will be very close and my prediction is that Ealing Trailfinders will win with the home advantage. I believe the Ealing Trailfinders back line is equal to Jersey but have a more agile, fitter set of forwards. Glen Townsens work with the forwards is coming together in both set piece and around the field, especially at the point of contact / breakdown.

My wife asked `what do you want for Christmas` I replied for Ealing to beat Jersey on the 22nd ` she said she would see what she could do !

LOL
Ambition should be made of sterner stuff.
