Thanks CC, I think this weekend's results will give a better idea of how each pool will finish...................or not!  Our result at Pirates last Sunday was a sore disappointment, being so near - again!

Looks like it two props, two hookers on the bench, although it is in the forwards we are having problems, 6 of the 10 unavailable are forwards.

Whenever Nottingham and Donny lock horns a battle is guaranteed, Donny usually come out on top but Nottingham won the last encounter between the two sides and will be hoping to do the same on Friday night.

Always good to Welcome home young Morgan Eames.

I do hope that the travelling London Scottish contingent are bringing their ladles as we are serving up pea soup in the Island this morning.
Hopefully, it will all clear this afternoon as it did yesterday and it remains clear over night.

Bedford Blues 5-0 Hartpury At home Blues a banker win by 15 points
Nottingham 1-4 Doncaster Knights Could go either way but I think Knights by 5 points
Richmond 1-5 Ealing Trailfinders the visitors have a great squad but their defence should give Mond a good chance of 4 tries
Jersey 4-1 London Scottish Two good defences but at home Jersey by 5 points
Coventry 4-1 Yorkshire Carnegie Could go either way
London Irish 5-2 Cornish Pirates Should be a brilliant match - my tie of the round and could go either way

Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.

Ok, let's have a fun stab at this then:

Bedford 5 - 0 Hartpury ... Blues just too strong at GR, regardless of match day squad.
Nottingham 4 - 1 Knights ... Always a battle this one, but Donny have too many injuries at the moment, not all one sided though.
Mond 0 - 5 ET ... The wounded animal to roar.
Jersey 5 - 0 LS ... A few changes to the Reds line up, but some serious quality still in there.
Cov 1 - 4 YC ... Carnegie to continue their resurgence in a tight, entertaining game.
Irish 5 - 0 Pirates ... Pirates to be mauled to death. If they can immobilise their backs, then they have a chance of a TBP.

LI team for Pirates. Loader returns from injury and Hepetama comes straight into the team at 12 after his signing was announced in the week. Steele starts and makes his 100th appearance for the club. Surprised they are still playing Myler in these. Would have been a good opportunity to give Atkins a start at 10

London Irish: 15 Greig Tonks, 14 Ben Loader, 13 Tom Fowlie, 12 Terrence Hepetema, 11 Napolioni Nalaga, 10 Stephen Myler, 9 Scott Steele, 1 Lovejoy Chawatama, 2 Saia Fainga’a, 3 Oliver Hoskins, 4 Barney Maddison (C), 5 Sebastian De Chaves, 6 Max Northcote-Green, 7 Isaac Curtis Harris, 8 Jake Schatz

Replacements: 16 Dave Porecki, 17 Danny Hobbs-Awoyemi, 18 Matt Rogerson, 19 Jack Cooke, 20 Rory Brand, 21 Jacob Atkins, 22 Matt Williams

Mond resting a fair number of last week's starters with two new caps. Interesting but definitely not the strongest side.
