anyone know average attendances for championship clubs 2018/19

According to Statbunker, which is notoriously poor but the best we have, 1746.

But just under a fifth of the total attendance was at London Irish 41k out of 215k.

25% of Irish's stats came from one game too! 10,106.  Take that out which I guess is Christmas/New Year game which one only half the clubs got and then they weren't too much higher than Blues and Coventry.

A slight aside from this, but a positive one. To date 10% of Coventry's season ticket sales for 2019-2020 are to new season ticket customers. This was a surprising enough figure for the club to publicise it. 

I have no idea of the total seasons sold yet, or overall trends.

The paddy's day game is a big party in Reading, I know many groups of people who go to it for the craic some of them even glance at the pitch during the game - it is not indicative of anyone's support levels - when LI leave town I would not be surprised if an alternative party without the rugby is arranged instead and it will likely get similar levels of support
