Spoke to a friend in the Midlands last night who tells me the RFU have pulled the plug on the planned RFU Clusters (Level 5 down) already with the plan to tell/ask local CBs to help clubs organise friendlies should we get back to Stage E of the return to rugby roadmap.

One would think the NCA Clusters won't be that far behind.

Yes, tweeted by the Cov Telegraph guy...
The 2020/21 rugby union season isn’t going to happen at all for the majority of clubs. Most haven’t played since March 2020. It’s the correct decision, but no less painful to accept." rel="nofollow -

Link to the note he pasted in appears not to be working from here for some reason. If you want to read it, search Bobby Bridge @bobby_bridge on Twitter.

Rugby isn’t happening this season. It never was. The governing body should have been brave enough to make that call and use the time to plan, prepare, develop everything so it comes back stronger.

Club engagement is available online but the club has to be proactive.
