Hmm...wrote a long post on this, but maybe it got killed or something went wrong technically. Anyhow, there were loads of Championship players turning out in the Pacific Nations Cup. f you are interested in seeing how they did playing for USA, Canada, Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, and Japan, then the games are up on Youtube if you just search for Pacific Nations Cup 2019. Players I spotted included:

* Sam Matavesi

* Ben Landry

* Will Hooley

* Nick Civetta

* Shane O'Leary

Leeroy Atalifo from Jersey played in 2 of Fiji's 3 games & we await news of whether he makes the final 31. Most countries other than England seem to be waiting a while until they confirm their runners/riders...
