But none of those Domes mentioned can boast a “Tiger Dome” let alone a Titan Tiger”

Any advice for a first time visitor to Taunton? Gate price? And what's the pitch like after all the (un)seasonal weather?
Come cheer up, my lads - 'tis to glory we steer!

According to their press release entry is free for the Plymouth Albion friendly.

The facilities are probably the best in the league, good pitch in good weather, but this week not so sure?

Dings have replicated Taunton apart from the pitch, 3G where the jury is still out apparently but I never heard of any complaints in their first season

Yes I agree that Taunton have a great facilities, the pitch should be in good nick, but with this downpour and the recent ones it will make it a soft, it is prone over the years to hold the water.

As for Dings replicating Taunton, I would say that is totally unfair, the club house layout along with the gym and sports hall and decent sized changing rooms make this a far better venue for a player and supporter, and the 3G I have been told is great, so I do wonder why the jury would be out ?

Agree that the set up at Dings is impressive but there have been a few comments on the 4G and the number of grazes and burns it causes.
Here we go

Regarding access to Taunton's ground:

There are road works around Junction 25 on the M5 including contra-flows and lane closures so delays can be expected. These works are expected to take a further 2 years!
Unfortunately there are no obvious alternate routes. Coming up from Plymouth it might be worth using Junction 26, though this would involve driving through the town on the A38.

Surely from Plymouth you’d take the excellent train service to Taunton !?

while we are talking about directions - someone at Worthing ought to contact Google - it is now adamant that the way to your clubhouse is to drive into the new estate where the wholesale part of the nursery was and cut through a solid fence to the south end of the clubhouse - with the new season you may get a lot of humphing from the residents of Thyme Place - it also suggests that as the walking route from the station

Cheers, sounds a great facility !

We only have inside bars, all under the Dome.

Food is generally steak pie, with a pea jus or pork scratching's, again under the Dome served in the presidents suit (Which doubles up as the bar, chairman's suit, changing rooms, showers and kit shop )

Panoramic views over Yorkshire and Derbyshire (When the Dome is opened)

Big Eddie was not happy on his last visit .... when the Dome is closed we cannot use the open fire for obvious reasons Cry

Cant wait for some rugby Saturday !!!!!! Dome open all being well !

Google allow anyone to make amendments to Google Maps - I'm assuming that's what you were using. If you find anything where the location pin is in the wrong place it can be amended 👍
