We have one on a road into Cambridge and they truly are awful and aesthetically about as pleasing as a lump of concrete - I find them a danger/distraction and can't read the message. I suspect traffic at this junction is static most of the time!

Wind turbine next?

To be fair I wouldn't want to live at the Rocks Lane junction with or without he boards.

Good to see the support Rugby clubs can garner when threatened as this an extract of what appeared in the Evening Standard recently

Eyebrows are being raised at how a man at the forefront of a campaign that threatens to destroy Rosslyn Park Rugby Club over their lucrative advertising hoarding makes some of his considerable wealth. City office refurbishment magnate Toby Benzecry and his wife Amanda have founded a group called Campaign Against Rosslyn Park Advertising (CARPA) who want to remove the club's main source of funding.

Oddly, in his letters to Wandsworth council and on petitions, including to advertisers who then pulled their ads, Mr Benzecry fails to mention that his multi-million pound company, Modus Workspace Ltd, also provided offices for another advertising hoarding giant, the Clear Channel and yet another, Zenith.

Clear Channel is a direct competitor with Park's advertising firm JC Decaux. There is no suggestion of impropriety, in this respect, however. LOLLOLLOL

No doubt when this comes before Wandsworth Council this will be put in front of them and it will be interesting to see what the Campaign heads have to say

On Zoopla there is a 3 bed flat going cheap at 1.2 million ! . The nearest property is a 2 bed flat across the the road from the hoarding at £ 629,000.
Ambition should be made of sterner stuff.
