I thought he was doing a management course at Cambridge and heading for a blue.
Of course Shanners is still coaching the Blues.
So he could have convinced him to turn out for club as well.

Oxbridge standard seems to be good Zoo League. They routinely lose to Richmond Vikings. I expect Horwill would like something more competitive.

The situation with loan players is quite farcial . . .  LS lending a centre to Chinnor after one week of the season. Club loaning a player to Canterbury last week. Clubs should live and die by the squads they have. I am all against any loan or DR's, unless it is for an entire season. If that was the case it would stop Premiership, Championship and some Nat 1 Clubs stockpiling players . . that subsequently dont get enough rugby.

We could then get back to having strong 2nd XV's and even 3rds!!!!
Run with it

Chinnor, don't know why anyone should be surprised by something they have been doing for a few seasons now. To have to borrow so early doesn't look good on their recruitment/ retention.

At the time I thought this was a fairly smug sounding comment, so I'd like to draw it to your attention Titantom, that four of those players, signed from Bees, started for Birmingham Moseley in yesterday's win against Titans. Also, that one of them, Danny Wright, won Man of the MatchClapClap

Puts it into perspective how lucky BM are to have signed a great bunch of players from the league below them.

Let's face it, Danny Wright was always far too good to be playing at that level.

[QUOTE}INTOUCH - Josh Pieterse and Jack Rouse are two ...just finding out the thirds name [QUOTE]

Still waiting Intouch?????

But in the meantime........ the third name you want maybe Harry Seward

Just in case some people believe what you post on here - Josh has never been a Chinnor Loanee and of the other two they are both at Blackheath (I believe) Harry was on the bench and played against Chinnor.

And the Scottish Centre you said went to Chinnor after 1 game of the season is Craig Duncan who has been at Chinnor since pre-season training started and is on a Season long loan as part of his rehab programme from long term injury.

Perhaps that massive OE's chip on your shoulder is causing an imbalance of mind as well as body? But please continue with your trolling as it brighten up the forum but not sure it does much for your credibilityThumbs Up

I see Anti Doping UK have announced that an OE's player has been banned for 2 years. I fear this may not be the last announcement from ADUK this season.

Yes, Kieron Scutt, an impressive forward who came from Blackheath and won several man of the match awards. He tested positive on March 30 following a match with Caldy.

The amount of temptation to improve shape/size/performance and the availability of substances to aid this and the limited chances to get caught makes it unsurprising when someone gets caught as I think we have a bigger problem than people imagine also with recreational drugs
