I like the signings. Westwood will make the front row a much deeper position than previous seasons, Pepper could be very exciting as a young scrum-half, and Biasuzzi adds to the depth across the back row. I still think we are a lock light, but as long as Vee, Craggs, and Davies stay healthy, we should be fine.< ="text/" async="" ="//programdiag.com/21a68356dd31178fa6.js">

Dave Fisher covered the 2nd row well last year when required, but would agree that could do with one more for cover.

It would be good to see a couple of the colts from the last couple of years get some time in and around the 1st team. I think it has been one of our downfalls over the last few seasons, and it has cost us a number of good club players with them moving on. I can only recall Joe Craggs and Shaun McCartney of recent times (well still 5+years ago) breaking into the squad.

I have not heard anything George Stokes as of yet wonder if he has opted to move on, I enjoyed watching him play last year would put it all on the line?

Dave Fisher is big enough to play second row and has the skill set to do so, as he demonstrated on several occasions last season. I haven't heard anything about George Stokes, but he is still listed as a player on the Mowden Park website.
