Callum Irvine and Dan Grange Join DMP For 2019/20

Darlington Mowden Park are delighted to announce the signings of Callum Irvine and Dan Grange ahead of the 2019/20 National One season. The pair become the club’s third and fourth new signings of the summer respectively, adding to the wealth of re-signings already confirmed. Both players will soon join up for the club’s pre-season training camp starting next month.

Do we need a new thread for players being signed/retained for the 2019/20 season, or should they still go in this one?

As it's over 16 months since I started this one and the season's over (in the real world at least), it's getting a bit long in the tooth, so probably time to start afresh!

A talented player, but not a first team regular at Mond.

He will be competing with Kieran Duffin and Finn Creighton for the shirt.
At least I hope he is, I am not sure if we have confirmed Finn has re-signed - but I hope he has.

I must have missed the big lottery win in Roth. Lewis Wilson is a quality player. Well Done Rotherham Carnegie

What pleases me the most is the emphasis on youth. A few old heads, but mainly young lads.

Much change at Plymouth Albion over the past week or so; not least at the top:

Trawl through the News section for the rest of the comings and (significant) goings. Am pretty sure recently married Matt Shepherd will make a fine player/coach at Redruth. I think it's fair to say that a lot of this is down to financial stringency; cutting your cloth, etc.

But will we have enough for a full suit of sails...?
Come cheer up, my lads - 'tis to glory we steer!

Suggest waiting for the full squad to be announced.

From what I have heard it will be significantly stronger than last season.

Will Harries is a brilliant rugby player. His courage under the high ball is outstanding. He has speed in abundance and has the ability to change games.

He played pro sevens for Wales and his jinking runs ofyen lead to tries.

I believe he was under used at Ealing Trailfinders the only criticism is that he can tend to be a tad greedy with ball.

An excellant signing for Chinnor and I for one and sorry to see him leave Ealing Trailfinders
Ambition should be made of sterner stuff.
