I know we've got a blank week, but here we go anyway....

Well going into the final furlong we have two issues to resolve. Will Huddersfield fall at the last in their quest for an almighty 100% win rate? And, more importantly, who will take the slot that nobody wants, the final day relegation? Let's see what's what....

Bill vs Ilkley 2 places in the table but a whole lot of points separate these two. Bill could quite conceivably finish in 4th this season, which is a magnificent placing for a great club! Hope you do it, boys. They will want to sign off in style here and I reckon they will

Loo vs Don Phoenix looks most likely to be double heartbreak. Doubt either team will have much to cheer at the end of the game, but hopefully can dust themselves down, regroup and come again hard next season. Could be the making of either or both. Hopefully not the start of a slide. I think Loo will be well up for a big send off, should be a big crowd, we shall see. I think Morley will win at Stockport & Cleck may well get 2 points leaving Donny needing the full 5 - could be a belter

Hudds vs Sandal will be a toughie for Hudds, but I think at the final reckoning they will win by a comfortable margin and claim that 100% record. Fair play lads, that's an incredible feat if you pull it off. Sandal could finish 4th 5th or 6th. Will they be happy with a 6th place finish? Not sure they will to be honest

Hull vs Kendal looks like a solid home win. Any other season Hull could have won this league from what I saw - Dale & Hudds just had that little something extra this year. Will be strong candidates next year I think. Kendal have done very nicely for themselves this year, and have an excellent platform for next season. Well done to both

Lymm vs Cleck is one Cleck will need to get points from to secure their survival. 1pt means Donny need to win to stay up (Donny would have won 1 more game than Cleck), 2pts means Donny need the bonus point win, anything more and Cleck will stay up no matter what. What an incentive that is - but Lymm are a tough, tough team to beat at their place. What a pressure cooker it will be. Keep your heads cool Cleck.

Port vs Morley. Morley are all but safe, a simple try bonus will guarantee survival regardless of other results. Personally I want the Port boys to win - they deserve at least that much. That's not a slur on Morley, but since they're already more or less safe, how's about a win for Port and a four try bonus for Morley?

Wirral vs Dale. What a game to finish on! No easy ride to the finish here for either team, a full blooded game in the offing. Will Dale rest a few with an eye on the playoff? Maybe....

This week's UNBANKABLE is to be Hull vs Kendal

Billingham vs Ilkley
Waterloo vs Doncaster Phoenix
Huddersfield vs Sandal
Hull vs Kendal
Lymm vs Cleckheaton
Stockport vs Morley
Wirral vs Rossendale

Good Luck!

For the final time.

Probably the most difficult prediction week yet. If you look at the reverse fixture first game of the season
Kendal lost to Hull by 5 points. Rossendale lost to Wirral by 4 points. Sandal lost to Huddersfield by 7 points and Lymm lost to Cleckheaton by 7 points. All away teams won. Leaving out Stockport the biggest margin was 15 points.
Losing sleep over this last prediction I think I will let Mrs Tulip do the honours. She says she knows more than me anyway

Of course... it's all clear now. Tulip is at the top of the game because he studies form. That's where I've been going wrong all these years. Balderdash.

Would have loved for Cleckheaton to have beaten Lymm the first game of the season, we wouldn't have been in the predicament we are now, final score was Cleckheaton 10 - 17 Lymm !

Billingham.             5-0.            Ilkley.          +10.     Thank "Evans" for loads of tries to end a great season for Bill
Waterloo.               5-0.            Doncaster. +10.      Loo to go out in style behind big crowd
Huddersfield.        2-2.             Sandal.                   In my heart I can't go against lads and can't see Field losing so I'm
going for a "Desmond"(2-2) we haven't had 1 this year.It may cost me
3rd Title but we do have young Davey (England U18 squad member)
and young Fox (England U18 scrum half) in the squad tomorrow so
It should be a great game.
Hull.                      5-0.             Kendal.        +10.     Hull should finish a good season in style
Lymm.                   4-1.            Cleckheaton -10.     That will be a tough encounter as well
Stockport.              0-5.            Morley.          +10.    Morley to dodge relegation in style.             Banker
Wirral.                    5-0.            Rossendale. +10.    If I was Rossendale DOR I would be playing my 2nd's

Anyway good luck to everyone and hopefully we will have Sten running the show next year. If not mate Thank you so much for making this so much fun.

I also would love Sten to keep the ship afloat next season. Maybe to tie things together, an addition could be a nearest the pin for the Waterloo game of that week, for a bonus of X points. With no repeat scores only one will win. Just an idea.

Billingham 5 v 0 Ilkley +10 Runners to finish how they started.

Waterloo 5-2 Doncaster -10 For pride alone. The Phoenix up in flames...COYGB Banker.

Huddersfield 2-5 Sandal +10 Would love sandal to win for the sake of the league.

Lymm 2-2 Cleckheaton +-10 I too would like a "Desmond" enough to see Cleck safe.

Stockport 0 v 5 Morley +10 Morley's own little banker in the fight for survival. A deserved place in next year's premier.

Wirral 2-2 Rossendale -+10 What the hell...in for a penny. Ross with an eye on the play offs.
