'bach versus Longton

Expected tough first half war of attrition for a local derby, largely comprising of Longton boshing away and Sandbach defending well. 5-3 at half time but in the second half 'bach opened up and Longton struggled to manage the increased tempo of the game.

By the end of the game 'bach had scored 4 tries for a bonus point but neither side will be approaching the forthcoming league campaign with over confidence.

'bach fielded  a team with 14 home grown players who have come through the mini juniors. Can any side match that?

Get the feel that this result will be quite important come the end of the season.

If you're referring to SC v Hinks, I was, congratulations the best team won. I'm sure Hinks will be in the shaker by the end of the season so good luck with that. SC will I'm sure be working hard at training to improve results

I was also at the SC vs Hinckley game. I can only say that the prop who was sent of, for, while spending time in the sin bin, running on to join in some handbags needs a strong word from his coach. His attitude on the side line after being shown the red card leaves a lot to be desired. It will be interesting to hear what thw disciplinary committee say. I did notice the game was being filmed, and the referee had a mike on.
