Interesting selections InTouch. From some research I believe you are an OE supporter, if that is correct could you potentially shed some light on the recent rumors of the HMRC investigating the club? We all know there is a lot of money at the club but is there a worry amongst supporters that soon the bank rolling will stop and the freefall back to Kent 3 will commence?

I don't think that TW's pitch has been a mudbath at all this season from the few times i have been up there.

Here we go again! Another week of fantastic games of rugby! Haven't decided where I'm going to watch today. The sun is out albeit a tad nippy. I'll either be heading down to T Wells, up to Sevenoaks or over the Maidstone.

Brentwood 0 -v- 5 Wimbledon - Easy enough win for the Dons I think. Wasn't overly impressed with Brentwood when I saw them.

Guildford 4 -v- 1 Sutton & Epsom - A real tough one to call. S&E seem to be blowing a bit hot and cold and Guidlford seem to surprise most of us each week! I'm going for a close home win.

Hertford 5 -v- 1 Chingford  - Hertford seem to be getting back to form and Chingford may struggle to keep pace. Home win.

Shelford 2 -v- 5 Bedford Athletic =- Potential game of the day! Two teams fighting for survival, battle of the plastic! Bedford have scored some impressive scalps and are probably the better team, but Shelford are fighting for everything at home. I'm going Bedford to edge a high scorer.

Sidcup 4 -v- 1 Dorking - Another tough call but I'm going to go CUUUPPPP at home in a low scoring affair.

Tunbridge Wells 5 -v- 1 CS Stags 1863 - TW confuse me. One week play superbly the other...well rubbish. Their league position belies there ability. They will feel the pressure to get a result this week, which CS (who I don't really know anything about) may capitalise on. But I feel a home win is on the cards.

Westcliff 5 -v- 1 Tring - Another cracking game. People talk up Tring, but I don't see it. Westcliffe (and no offence to any individual players) I think prove that the sum of the parts is greater than any one individual. They play for each other and are very well drilled so I think a home win.

Guildford -v- Sutton & Epsom 0-5 Great Surrey battle and I'm excited for someone to put Guildford back in their box so they can start their demise to their rightful place at the foot of the table.

LOLLOL

Yet more delightful Sidcup folk.  Perhaps you morons should switch and watch the round ball game?

Just a thought...

The Hertford player received a four week ban. He was not innocent, the club or the player never have claimed he was innocent and accept the decision as fair and just.

There is little point in making allegations that can't be substantiated suffice to say this was a 35 year old player who has never had a Red card in a  long career at a decent level. He openly punched an opposition player four times in an aggressive manner. It cannot be justified and he or the club have not attempted to justify it but these things rarely happen for no reason.

I was at Sidcup today and witnessed a cracking game between two evenly balanced teams. Dorking had a little bit to find to address the balance from last season whilst Cup were on a good run excluding their last game. Both sets of supporters were vocal but do actually 'SUPPORT' their teams with robust enthusiasm. The sideline banter was friendly and fair with D's supporters admitting we were fortunate to score our first try off a forward pass. That said Sir missed it so the score stood and thats all that matters. There were many other 'missed calls' by Sir that favoured Cup, so it all balanced out in the end. The game fluctuated with periods of dominence by both sides, and excellent defence by both from start to finish. I think the difference was that Dorking were more clinical and very unlucky with a superb rolling maul from outside cup 22, that was only held on their line. Dorking held a clear 10pt advantage going into the final quarter, during which Cup threw the kitchen sink at 14 man Dorking and reduced the advantage. Despite finishing the game with 14, D's defended stoically and held out for a deserved win. A really good game enjoyed in the full spirit of the game and a very good win on the road for D's.

Well played Dorking today albeit a scrappy game where the players became a bit lost with the referee’s interuptation of the laws and what a complete f@ck up the last play was and officiated. That call by the referee where there was a clear opportunity for Sidcup to score having won the line out 10m out was beyond a joke. Had it been officiated properly Sidcup would have won the game.Dorking are a good side with some good runners and they know how to slow down the clock. I look forward to the return.

With 3rd place being bang average and not looking too good, what does that leave 5th place looking?  Below average and looking terrible?

Oh no, that’s a bit embarrassing as S&E turn over Guildford easily and S&E go in to 3rd with Guildford slipping to 5th.

And the last time Guildford beat Sidcup was?????????????????????

What a ridiculous response to ask when the last time Guildford beat Sidcup...what's that got to do with the price of eggs? Quite a childish response if anything.

Seems to be a lot of people wishing on the downfall of Guildford, and not quite sure why.

For a team that survived the relegation last year on bonus points, to be doing as well as they are this year, is quite some feat.

So pipe down.

Wishing on the downfall....probably the reputation the players and supporters have.

You can’t argue though that Guildford are doing better this year and shouldn’t have to look over their shoulders like in previous years.

Not sure why Guildford are being picked on here? We (London Cornish) have played them loads at all levels in recent seasons and never had issues with them on or off the pitch. I laid into them off the pitch last season as there were internal issues, which have been resolved with the replacement of the entire Committee - the result is a more settled season on the pitch, which allied with decent recruitment has seen them enjoying an improved performance so far.

I ventured down to Sidcup at the weekend.  My first ever visit.  I was impressed with the club and the set up. Decent clubhouse, decent supporters, decent banter and all in the right spirit.
Pitch wasn't top drawer and 'a little old school' shall we say, but this had no bearing on a smashing  game. Have to broadly agree with the comments above about the match itself.
How the forward pass was missed for our try beggars belief ! (we were right in line with the contact - it was a shocker Sir..)
But these things generally balance themselves out as I feel they did in this match - they happen and we all accept them when they go our way!
A great win on the road for Dorking in a tough physical match, with nothing left out there by either team.  Definitely got this one in the diary for the return.

For the ordinary purposes of conversation, a superficial knowledge of many things goes further than an intimacy with one or two.

Watched Brentwood v Wimbledon on Saturday, I can see why they top the table. Outstanding first 20 minutes with the bonus point secured. That was all set up by the dominance in the scrum, constantly pushing the ball 5-10 metres out following a scrum pen and using a rolling maul or freeing up the backs.

When they lost that advantage as we got to grips of the occasion things evened themselves up and we pushed them close, great game to watch and only down by 5 points going into injury time. All this with 4 of our heavyweight forwards and our 2 leading try scorers out injured, really proud of our young team.

Guildford seem to have a direct correlation between paying players with a cracking CV "above the going rate" in order to prosper. Seems people forget about the multiple clubs who enjoy the bank roller's project until he/she moves on to something else?

Always good to read match opinions on here after a close round of matches. So what happened at Sidcup? As some have said, there are many calls that can be disputed in a game and you need to put games out of doubt sometimes.

On the topic of officiating I must congratulate the ref at Westcliff v Tring. One of Tring’s best assets is a bit of niggle and getting under the skin of opposition. The ref kept control of a game that could have got out of hand.
