I watched the Hertford v Brentwood match on saturday, I was impressed by Brentwood's play and by their excellent supporters. Another dogged display by Hertford saw them edge the match with a try with the last play of the match.
Many congratulations to Chxlamw, top scoring with a magnificent 21 points.
A special mention to Running Rugby, the only one of us to predict a Guildford victory Wink

Bedford Athletic 5 v 1 Dorking. Bedford have found their feet and are good at home on the plastic
Brentwood 4 v1 Tunbridge Wells. Brentwood better than their league position suggests.
CS Stags 1863 5 v 0 Chingford. Stags on a roll, Chingford starting to feel the heat.
Guildford 5 v0 Shelford. No need for Guildford Blue to spit his dummy out this week, easy home win.
Sutton & Epsom 5 v 1 Hertford. Two in form teams, lots of points and home advantage to swing it.
Tring 5 v 0 Sidcup. Tring to take all of the poinbts on the slope.
Wimbledon 1 v 4 Westciff. Westcliff still genuine promotion candidates, Wimbledon underwhelming.

Pivotal weekend with the top four playing each other, good luck everyone.

Bedford Ath 2-5 Dorking Bedford aren’t bad but under pressure they crumble.
Brentwood 4-1 Tunbridge Wells Tight ol affair here.
CS Stags 5-2 Chingford High scoring affair that could easily go the other way if the team selection is better.
Guildford 5-0 Shelford No brainer.
Sutton & Epsom 5-1 Hertford S&E much improved than the last time out.
Tring 4-1 Sidcup Battle of the forwards.
Wimbledon 4-1 Westcliff Dons to down cliff at the death.

Bedford Athletic -v- Dorking         4-1   Bedford  are certainly  not going to lie down.
Brentwood -v- Tunbridge Wells    4-0   RTW far from regal currently!
CS Stags 1863 -v- Chingford       5-0   Difficult to see too far beyond the busy bureaucrats.
Guildford -v- Shelford                   5-0   This looks like the game between the team ( and supporters) who everyone currently seemingly loves to   hate and the one that everyone sympathises with! No fairy tale ending again though!
Sutton & Epsom -v- Hertford        4-0  Battle royal but the  younger, classier and fitter outfit should  prevail even if Hertford do have a few tricks of their own up their sleeves.
Tring -v- Sidcup                            4-0  Another  difficult  trip north for Dangerous Dave.
Wimbledon -v- Westciff                 1-4  It's a long time since the Wombles beat anyone other than Shelford at all convincingly and this is now crunch time for them! They may well fail the test.

Bedford Athletic 1-4 DORKING- Bedford fighting very hard and are IMO better at home, however D's have been narrowly beaten the last twice by two top sides who were intent on beating us, and we just need the final piece of the jigsaw to click.
BRENTWOOD 5-0 Tunbridge Wells- Wood at last showing their potential whilst RTW are on the decline it would seem.
CS STAGS 1863 5-0 Chingford- With the double over former leaders Wimbledon, Brexit Stags are starting the rut and planting their seed at this level.
GUILDFORD 5-0 Shelford- Much needed win last week for G's and sadly cant see any opposition this week.
SUTTON & EPSOM 4-1 Hertford- Can just see a narrow win for Sutts here. They are good this season and on a strong roll, but Hertford are better opposition and this will be close.
TRING 5-0 Sidcup- If Tring play anywhere near the way they did at Dorking last week, this will be a stroll for them, with Cup indifferent away form
Wimbledon 2-5 WESTCLIFF- Dons have shown their frailities recently and I now expect a battle for 1st and 2nd places between Sutts and Cliff. This years Wimbledon are certainly not the team that gained promotion in 2017.

Hoping for a better clutch of predictions this week after getting just 2 right last week.Unhappy With some rain forecast over the next few days and the avoidance of bad weather conditions should be ideal. Off to Bedford this weekend for our annual 'derelicts away tour' so some fun expected. MOTD will definately be at Wimbledon. Tight at the top. Good luck to all.

Bedford Athletic -v- Dorking        5-1 Bedford to sneak it.
Brentwood -v- Tunbridge Wells   5-0 If Brentwood play like they did last week it should be a stroll.
CS Stags 1863 -v- Chingford        5-0  Traditionally you beat CS by sticking it up the jumper and letting the big blokes do all the work. Not sure Chingford have the personel to do that.
Guildford -v- Shelford                   5-0  Sadly Shelford won't make much headway this weekend. Fingers crossed for them though.
Sutton & Epsom -v- Hertford         1-4  Attack v defence? Hertford need to be more clinical with ball in hand to get the win.
Tring -v- Sidcup                             5-0   Easiest pick of the week.
Wimbledon -v- Westciff                 5-2   Could go either way actually.

Enjoy your break.  Can't argue with your logic!

I've just enquired about Guildford's injured player.  I've been told - torn neck muscles, no fracture.  He was down for a long time.  Not a pleasant outcome for him, but it could have been a lot worse!
