Think this was a typo. 0-5 is what you meant |

I could go on. But I don’t want to hurt the feelings of the forum faries.

Haha.
And you wonder why Guidlford has a rep. You are an embarrassment to your club. I was at the game today. You got a deserved win. But don't celebrate too soon. You were woeful. Not quite as woeful as Wells but still plenty to go before you can start gloating. Also, I was disgusting by the behavior of some of you travelling supporters. Shouting abuse at the ref, to the point where he had to warn them and the coaching staff of their behaviour. No Dave Ward today, but Kyle didn't particularly cover himself in glory either. If you can be bothered, do you have an update on your injured player? I noticed the ambulance finally turning up about an hour after the injury occurred. |

Well that's a fairly classless action on your part. Mind you, your supporters lived up to that above assumption. Abusing the TW touch judge for a decision the ref made, ringing that pointless cowbell all the time to the point where your own players couldn't hear Mr Sinkler's instructions and also general rudeness after the change in pitch for your injured player which I noticed not one of you went over to see how he was.

I'm not interested in the rest of it, or even this specific point, apart from it leading into... Did the ref go back eventually? At full time he headed straight back towards the Clubhouse, after a quick chat with whoever was there with him... assessor or his coach? I was a little surprised by that. I'd certainly like to know how the injured player is now as well. Edited by BruceElliott - 19 Jan 2019 at 20:28 |

The forum fairies, (or grown ups, as we like to call them) are not at all surprised that Guildford are getting a poor reputation, as you demonstrate. Form is temporary, class seems to be optional for a few people. Shame, the set up is good and it could be a good place to go.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe,
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion, I've watched C beams glitter in the darkness near the Tennhauser Gate, |

Wow........GuildfordBlue showing his true colours. The whooping by a few players during games is baffling and is what has put people’s backs up on this forum. 2 weeks ago at Sidcup some of the Guildford players were doing it again and Sidcup went onto demolish Guildford. Very sad to see GuildfordBlue giving it large and letting those that I know and respect at Guildford down. You are an embarrassment to yourself and Guildford Rugby Club. Jog on.

i was at the Dorking Tring game today which was an extremely physical but fair contest with Tring just about edging it. Played in a really good spirit and a credit to both teams and good to see the players socialising after the game over a few beers and the traditional boat race Reminded me of what it was like when I started playing 40 years ago

An excellent contest at the Big Field yesterday and a deserved win for Tring with stand out performances all over the place but particularly the visiting 7, 10 & 15 (they were everywhere!). Dorking played very well but made some telling errors near the try line and one defensive shocker, allowing Tring in for their 1st try (tbh Tring deserved that slice of luck). In truth both teams could have scored a 4T Bonus, but were simply undone by some exceptional defensive work. A smashing match and easily the best performance (IMHO) by a visiting team this season.

For the ordinary purposes of conversation, a superficial knowledge of many things goes further than an intimacy with one or two.

Wot, that paragon of cool calm level headed virtue. Who next for Mr Wards replacement, Ellis Genge ?

Quite a pulsating game at Hertford yesterday: Brentwood far better than their position suggests and must still be scratching their heads at how they lost. 0-13, 20-13, 20-23, 27-23....talk about swinging back and forth. Afraid the man in the middle had a day to forget, but his shirt was a lovely white/pink combo so that makes up for his lack of understanding about breakdowns, offside, scrummaging etc etc.

Isn't it amusing that the guy fifth from bottom in the predictions league is poking fun because some of us got the Guildford prediction wrong !
As a Chinnor supporter it will probably be quite a while before I get to see what Guildford are really like..............
