BEDFORD ATHLETIC 4-1 Brentwood- Ath are stronger at home on all accounts and not much between them on form. Wood are showing potential and improvement so could be v close. Home adv.
Chingford 1-5 WESTCLIFF- Cliff must keep the momentum going and should win this.
CS STAGS 1863 4-0 Guildford- Stags to take the spoils from an indifferent G's for what reason?
DORKING 5-0 Shelford- D's young pretenders take the stage to provide competition to our injured crop, and post their intent. Always wary of the opposition despite pain for Shelford so no underestimation.
SIDCUP 5-0 Tunbridge Wells- A derby always increases performance but Twells not what they were.
TRING 4-1 Sutton&Epsom- Despite Sutts recent good form Tring remain unbeaten at home for ???. No big score here and a dour battle forecast.
WIMBLEDON 4-1 Hertford- Dons will want to get back on track after last weeks slip, and conscious of Westcliff proximity. Hertford good but could keep the scoreline tight.

With all the recent rain a first sign of winter conditions will turn emphasis to forwards dominence and the bigger packs to benefit. Usual upsets to happen but good luck to all.

Talk of  looking at a " a successful season of consolidation" at Combe ! Has it come to this?

Bedford Athletic -v- Brentwood   1-4  Another last gasp win for  lucky Brentwood perhaps?
Chingford -v- Westcliff                 0-5   From what I hear Westcliff are pretty well organised. Take a change of kit for half-time?
CS Stags 1863 -v- Guildford         4-1   Nobody seems to like well-heeled Guildford much. Even  poor " Civil Service" with its strange set-up  seems more popular .
Dorking -v- Shelford                     5-0  Dorking used to be pretty raucous themselves. They won't have to be this week!
Sidcup -v- Tunbridge Wells           4-0  I  don't really mind Cup beating the Kentish upstarts.
Tring -v- Sutton & Epsom              4-1  Attritional and some odd form lines here but Tring don't lose many at home.
Wimbledon -v- Hertford                4-0   This will be a good test of the drainage and of the boredom threshold of any neutrals unless  it all kicks off between the big men of course just like old times.

After last weeks massive 0 points, Ive decided to try and make it 2 weeks in a row

So..........

Bedford v Brentwood 0-5, massive 5 points for away team, they love playing on a flat pitch!!
Chingford  v Westcliff 5-0, only one winner here, heard Chingford didn't even run a session this week due to city boys enjoying xmas parties!!
CS Stags v Guilford 0-5, Guildford to whoop to the win thanks to Kyle!!
Dorking v Shelford 0-5, Come on Shelford with the first win of the season, won't come cheap for the watching supporters!
Sidcup V Tunbridge Wells 5-0 anyone for a beach party, Dave's tired legs to struggle in the sand
Tring v Sutton & Epson 0-5 Time to break the home record
Wimbledon v Hertford 0-5 hope this happens, pity too few will see it unless Hertford take a crowd

Can't think of many places more awkward to get to for us so wouldn't expect a barmy army type presence. A few lunching blazers at most is my guess.

Just about recovered from another great trip to Hoe Lane. I was convinced I was going to make Carlos eat his words, however it was not to be. I felt like we were dominant throughout the game, we just couldn't get over the line!! Fair play to Hertford who defended heroically and took their chances very well. Atmosphere was as ever brilliant on the sideline.

Perhaps scarred by the Dons experience, I stuck with the supporters favourite guinness. Delicious an nutritious.

Bedford 5 - 1 Brentwood - Fancy the Ath at home.
Chingford 0 - 5 Westcliff - Westcliff to power to victory in the Essex derby
CS Stags 1 - 5 Guildford - Gs to carry on their impressive run of form
Dorking 5-0 Shelford - Dorking to really punish Shelford
Sidcup 5-0 Tunbridge Wells - Always a great game, we've historically had the better of RTW, however last year season they got the better of us on both occasions, fingers crossed we can reverse this trend
Tring 4 - 1 S&E - S&E keep proving me wrong, Tring is just a very tough place to go
Wimbledon 4 - 1 Hertford - Herts defence was very impressive, will be interesting to see if Wimbledon adapt to their (cowardly!) tactics of not competing at maul time better than we did. Could easily see this going the other way, should be a corker.

Best,
DD

So it was your fault DD.

I had to revert to amber chemicals at 7.00pm because we had gone through 7 barrels of Guinness during the afternoon!
Hopefully they won't run out in wombleland today.
