So we reach the end of an interesting season. Tonbridge Juddian are the deserving Champions but Wimbledon pushed them all the way, their improvement from last season was vast.

Hertford & Westcombe Park have showed little or no improvement from last season, they both have a long way to go to reach the levels of the top two. Perhaps they are content with life in this league?

Preseason favourites such as Dorking & Guernsey didn't live up to expectations where as I am sure Westcliff will be pleased with their season.

Big change at Shelford next season with their 4G pitch, will they be able to use it to their advantage?

Well done to Guildford & Sutton & Epsom in securing their place in the league, assuming that the latter beat Amersham & Chiltern, they may need to if Chichester beat Westcombe Park.
Speaking of Chichester, many will feel that relegation is just desserts for the actions of their No7 (a player with a terrible disciplinary record) earlier this season, know one wants to see behaviour like that on the Rugby Pitch.

Not sure how Southend Saxons will feel about their season, obviously disappointed with the first half but delighted by how they turned things around.

Commiserations to Colchester and Amersham & Chiltern, two good Clubs who I hope will be back in this league soon, hopefully better and stronger.

Apologies if I have offended anyone with my opinions of their teams, I feel that this forum is far more interesting when people cast their opinions.

Your final predictions for the season please,

Chichester -v- Westcombe Park
Dorking -v- Wimbledon
Guernsey -v- Colchester
Hertford -v- Westcliff
Shelford -v- Guildford
Southend Saxons -v- Tonbridge Juddian
Sutton & Epsom -v- Amersham & Chiltern

Chichester -v- Westcombe Park 1-4 Park to put in a performance for their departing coach Steve Wagstaff and condemn Chichester to London 1.Ouch
Dorking -v- Wimbledon 1-4 Dorking awkward at home, but Dons too strong.
Guernsey -v- Colchester 5-0 Party time for Guernsey.
Hertford -v- Westcliff 4-1 Both teams with nothing to play for so going with home advantage.
Shelford -v- Guildford 5-0 Guildford relaxed and safe, Shelford to take advantage.
Southend Saxons -v- Tonbridge Juddian 4-1 Southend to end the season on a high, cue Steve McQueen on a motor bike, congratulations TJs.Clap

Chichester 1 -v- 5 Westcombe Park (disappointing second half of the season for Combe but will finish on a high)
Dorking 0 -v- 5 Wimbledon (Wimbledon getting ready for playoff)
Guernsey 5 -v- 0 Colchester (Guernsey to do the business at home)
Hertford 5 -v- 0 Westcliff (Hertford too good at home)
Shelford 5 -v- 0 Guildford (Shelford normally strong at home)
Southend Saxons 0 -v- 5 Tonbridge Juddian (with the pressure off TJs to shine)
Sutton & Epsom 5 -v- 0 Amersham & Chiltern (Sutton get over the line with ease)

Chichester -v- Westcombe Park 1-5 Play like we did v Southend and could well be the other way around although Combe desperately want to win and maintain the 3rd spot which after finsishing 5th last year would represent a significant improvement on last season but more importantly the lads want to win for the outgoing head coach, DoR & chief bottlerwasher Steve Wagstaff who has promised to do a traditional Combe "chumbwumba" if we win!
Dorking -v- Wimbledon 0-5 Wimbedon are in the play off's v Dings Crusaders (I think) they will keep the hammer down here to maintain momentum and take wining form into the pay offs.
Guernsey -v- Colchester 5-0 Guernsey away the last game of the season is a brilliant fixture, even better if you win. Unfortunately the only thing Colchester may win is the boat race in the bar afterwards
Hertford -v- Westcliff 5-0 No way will Hertford want to lose their last game of the season, they'll have a big crowd and need to put right the performance v Southend in their last home game. Still a possibility of 3rd place if Combe lose at Chi.
Shelford -v- Guildford 5-0 Shelford have won some big games this season and will be strong next term, neither with anything to play for so should be a fun high scoring game with Shelford coming out on top.
Southend Saxons -v- Tonbridge Juddian 0-5 Southend are good at the moment but showed some weaknesses against Combe, a full strength TJ's have the man power and fire power to exploit those weaknesses.
Sutton & Epsom -v- Amersham & Chiltern 5-0 Sutton have been a little below par of late but should do the business here and secure survival and at the same time condemn Chi to the drop regardless of the score in their fixture v Combe. A&C have nothing to play for and will put up little resistance.

Its been fun, and I'm looking forward to welcoming the promoted/relegated teams into the newly named L&SE Premier Division next season.
Wishing Wimbledon the best of luck in their playoff and many congratulations to TJ's on their deserved promotion.

Shelford -v- Guildford 5-0 Last time on grass for Shelford

Chichester 2-5 WESTCOMBE PARK - Chi will fight with feignt hope but to no avail.
DORKING 5-1 Wimbledon - Wombles may rest their stars for play-off. D's on revenge mission.
GUERNSEY 5-0 Colchester - Relaxed Raiders to play for fun. Col to enjoy their weekend 'on tour'.
HERTFORD 5-0 Westcliff - Hertford to close their season on a high with comfortable win.
SHELFORD 5-0 Guildford - G's relaxed with pressure off, and could go either way?. Expect home win.
SOUTHEND SAXONS 4-1 Tonbridge Juddians - Saxons to share the party MOTD.
SUTTON & EPSOM 5-0 Amersham & Chiltern - A&C have pride dont underestimate, but Sutts need this.

Eventually a 2 horse race emerged and congrats to both TJ's and Wimbledon. Good luck to Wimbledon in the play-off. TJ,s may offer some advice on this, and so can Dorking. Looks like Sidcup and Tring will be joining us next season with one of LIWG/Barnes/Worthing? Good luck to all.

Chichester 0-5 Westcombe Park (The blues are off to L1S after this loss)
Dorking 1-4 Wimbledon (This local derby will go the Wombles way, but Dorking will put up a fight)
Guernsey 5-0 Colchester (Home advantage will prove far too much for the Essex boys)
Hertford 5-0 Westcliff (A final Winn for the season in the Sun for H's)
Shelford 5-0 Guildford (A long trip back for the Guildford boys planning another season at Level 5)
Southend Saxons 0-5 Tonbridge Juddian (This could be a cricket score to the end the season for TJs)
Sutton & Epsom 5-0 Amersham & Chiltern (The cyclists will secure safety with a convincing win at Rugby Lane)

Thanks to all for a great season, have a great off season and enjoy the Lions Tour.

Few would argue with you summary of the Clubs playing in London National 3.

It is a kind of justice to see Chichester disappear. Good bye to them, and lets hope they never re surface into National 3
