Many congratulations to Sutton & Epsom on their well deserved promotion, Donkey Bonker would have been very proud. I hope that Chinese Dave won't forget us all on this league!
All the best to Westcliff on their playoff game, fantastic to see a Club with so many home grown players do so well.
Many congratulations to Dangerous Dave, top scoring this week with 21 points.

Winner of the 2018/19 N3 LSE Prediction League is Thames Estuary Man, well done Sir!

Donkey Bonker would indeed have been proud, particularly as his son has been directing operations from no 9 for the majority of the season. Sincerely hope Westcliff win their play off, another community club similar to us. No illusions of grandeur from us about how difficult next season will be and i'm sure our various clubs will cross swords again in one league or another. Thanks again Fatty for keeping this going. 👍

Cheers Fatty, and thanks for running the game. It’s given us all a bit of extra fun each week. I’m not sure if my club Westcliff will be part of this league next year but whether we are or not, I’ll be back to defend my title.
Enjoy the summer break everyone :-)

Well done TEM. I met a couple of Westcliff senior members and your President or Chairman over a few beers post game. Great guys and we all had a good day. The seniors were saying that they would prefer 'not to get promotion' due to the logistics, finance, and expected difficulty to recruit as a true amateur club, and feared the immediate return if they did. However this is not the choice of the players who after all are the ones to 'test the water' and put their bodies on the line. Whatever the outcome of your game against Barnstaple I wish you well for the future. The experience at L4 will be great fun.

Best of luck to Westcliff in the playoff, always want to see the LSE team win! The first thing Westcliff will need for next season is a new coach, promoted or not.
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe,
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion,
I've watched C beams glitter in the darkness near the Tennhauser Gate,

Head Coach Announcement

I would like to advise the membership that our Head Coach Chris Waring will be leaving the club at the end of this season. We are proud as a club to have given Chris his first opportunity at Senior Rugby as a Head Coach and he has rewarded us with a huge contribution to the success of the current 1st XV over the last 4 years and our massive thanks go to Chris for everything he has done for the club during that time. We wish him well in his next Rugby adventure.

Is that parental duties getting in the way, or am I thinking of the wrong coach?

I’m not sure of Waro’s situation but I’ve heard he lives near Hertford so must have done an awful lot of driving over the last four seasons.

He's got a multi-million business empire to run, or am I thinking of the wrong Peter Jones? LOL
