Was great to drop in at Wharfedale having not been for some time.  Same friendly rugby club.  Good game to watch although Hinckley were far to 'smart' for Wharfedale especially in and around the Tackle/Ruck and had clever man managers throughout the spine of the team, who knew how and when to slow up the game etc.   As ever however a pleasure to catch up with old friends, although sad to hear of a good number of these being far from well, my best wishes extend especially to these folk in this new year.

Huddesfield however were ready to do battle with an impressive Hoopers pack with their clever backs and went toe to toe with them. After Huddersfield were winning 8-0 at half time, I never saw 40 points being scored in the second half as the game ebbed and flowed.
Huddesfield ended up as the victors in an absorbing game of rugby played in great spirit by both sides.

Agree Waltzer. Thought it was a very good game as hard an uncompromising as you could possibly get at this level.
