My selections as winners this week.

Bournville by a whisker.
Newport in a humdinger.
Nuns,too much beef for Lichfield.
Sandbach, desperate for an immediate return on their investments
SKiwifruithorpe, plenty of biff and a difficult side to beat at home.
Sheffield,Burton to struggle.
Syston,will find a way.

Bournville v Broadstreet AW Is the new carpet going to assist the Chocolatiers I fear not enough.

Newport v Luctonians AW Toughest game of the week to predict, both teams unbeaten both favourites for the league. Wish I had the gonads to go for a draw but will be tight and just perhaps young Drew to make the difference.

Nuneaton v Lichfield HW Nuns too strong at home but will depend on team availability eh Section 19 Wink

Sandbach v Doncaster Phoenix HW Depends which Sandbach turns up but usually strong at home while the Phoenix not so good on the road.

Sunny Scunny v Derby HW The Greens to keep up the pressure on the top 2.

Sheffield v Burton HW Last seasons level 4 v level 6 I think Sheffield to prevail.

Syston v Bridgnorth AW 'North too strong for Syston but don't distract from power of the home support.
Cobbler, see you Saturday then, I'm the good looking one of the Alicadoes at Scunny LOL

I'm afraid I will not be there after all having been laid up ill this week. I'm sure you will have fun with the Derby alickadoos (all of whom will claim to be 'the good looking one'!!)

The match is a double header as well (Notts, Lincs and Derbys Cup)

I'm sure they will but I've look on the website and thought I could use their pictures to keep the kids away from the fire. LOL

Must be some player that scrum half, to lose by that score. So perhaps one player does make a team. Confused

Bournville 8-24 Broadstreet

Newport 15-13 Luctonians

Nuneaton 12-30 Lichfield

Sandbach 39-43 Doncaster

Scun-thorpe 41-21 Derby

Sheffield 26-0 Burton

Syston 9-18 Bridgnorth

Bournville’s celebrations regarding their new facility were dampened by a dominant Broadstreet. The battle of the favourites saw the home side sneak a tight one to take the spoils. Probably the surprise of the day was the result at Liberty Way where Nuneaton were overrun by Lichfield. Sandbach and Donny played out a 14-try thriller with the visitors holding out the hosts’ comeback to take the spoils. Scun-thorpe took the top spot in the league with a comprehensive win over Derby and Burton failed to get on the scoresheet when they travelled up to Sheffield, losing 26-0. Syston pressed visitors Bridgnorth hard but were unable to secure their 1st win, going down 9-18.

In the prediction league, congratulations go to 2 newbies in StingerClap and FushiboClap for correctly predicting all but one of the results. Huckleberry-of-the-week goes to me for forgetting to post and doing my chances of retaining the title irreparable harmConfused.

Bin LickerStar and FPStar retain their joint top spot.

I did that last season, just remember a good marker beats a good predictor as it did last season LOL
