Newport (Salop) v Bournville HW Salopians to get back to winning may even play some 2nd teamers Wink

Nuneaton v Sheffield HW May depend on which Nuns play but just fancy Nuns to win at home.

Sandbach v Sunny Scunny AW Never an easy fixture home or away Scunny to keep keep on track.

Did see that from your write up but that didn't influence my choice. Just had a feeling in my water. Which is more than can be said for our lot today. Sandbach were really on it. Great effort by them and they enjoyed their well deserved jugs. Clap

So last week Sandbach get pasted by the bottom side and this week they do the league leaders. Last season they beat Bees twice and lost to Old Hales twice. The most difficult team in the league to predict, me thinks.

Derby 17-25 Syston

Doncaster 43-38 Burton

Lichfield 18-28 Broadstreet

Luctonians 45-12 Bridgnorth

Newport 31-10 Bournville

Nuneaton 37-13 Sheffield

Sandbach 32-17 Scun-thorpe

Hapless Derby were the Syston’s 4th successive victim as they continue to perform their own version of the ”The Great Escape”. Doncaster haul themselves out of the relegation zone with hard fought win over a combative Burton side. Broadstreet were slow to start and found them 13-0 down to Lichfield early doors but they shook off their stupor to close the half 13-21 up. Controlling the second half, they eased awa for a bonus point win. Bridgnorth’s tilt at promotion took a possible fatal blow as they were overwhelmed by their promotion rivals, Luctonian’s. Newport’s win over Bournville closed the gap at the top as they took 5 points. Nuneaton brought their A game as form side Sheffield were dismantled at Liberty Way. SKiwifruithorp’s winning ways were ended by the league’s Jeckell & Hyde team Sandbach, throwing the title race wide open.

Top predictors this week were FP, Stinger and Rdh160. This allows FP to close the gap at the top to 3 points. Apart from that there is no change at the top.
