2p coin tossed aside after miserable performance last time out. My grey matter predicts the following
Derby v Syston AWAY Game of the day by some margin - safe to say losers of this will be 90% certain to go down. How Derby beat Newport and then lose 7 on the bounce I'm not quite sure? Syston with 3 wins on the trot to extend their lifeline
Doncaster v Burton HOME Donny climbing steadily to safety and victory here will pull Burton deeper into the mire
Lichfield v Broadstreet AWAY Lich on the crest of a slump and Street going well
Luctonians v Bridgnorth HOME With rivals Newport to play next week followed by a North Mids Cup Final (a trophy they have never won)at Stourbridge on Friday 15th I suspect North's thoughts will be elsewhere. Lucs to romp home with a BP win and take revenge for their two previous defeats to the Shropshire All Blacks earlier in the season
Newport v Bournville HOME Newport to get back on track but this won't be easy following Bourns good run of late which should be enough to keep them in this league
Nuneaton v Sheffield AWAY Nuns look safe but Sheff still pushing even though they're a bit of a long shot
Sandbach v Scun-thorpe AWAY I am starting to worry for Bach - they have a difficult run in and need some points to ensure safety. Perennial survivors they will probably do it but maybe not this week(even though I'm praying they pull off a shock) Was very close up at Scunny in reverse fixture - Sale also at home so no Webber on hand to fire them up

An interesting set of fixtures.... let's get the guess ball rolling with:

Derby v Syston: = AW On form Syston will revel on the plastic

Doncaster v Burton = HW Doncaster are continuing to invest in remaining in this league

Lichfield v Broadstreet = AW Routine trip up the road for Broadstreet

Luctonians v Bridgnorth =HW Lucs have home advantage and on paper are the better side

Newport v Bournville = HW Newport need to quickly adapt to winning again

Nuneaton v Sheffield = AW Not a long trip for Sheffield who will still be well stoked from denying Newport a "W"

Sandbach v Scun-thorpe = AW This will be a walk in the park for Sunny S despite the long trip and noisey Cheshire Set

Tend to agree with Thatblokes grey matter and comments this week.

Derby v Syston AW this is the least certain and will go with Syston to continue winning in a sadly futile late rally

Doncaster v Burton HW

Lichfield v Broadstreet AW

Luctonians v Bridgnorth HW Never easy in Wales

Newport v Bournville HW

Nuneaton v Sheffield AW Nuns poor at moment but you never know

Sandbach v Scun-thorpe AW This will be close methinks One For Ditch trying some reverse psycology to wind up Bach. He is right that the Cheshire set will be there though waving their brown envelopes!!

This weeks guesses.

Derby v Syston AW  Derby struggling now, Syston to keep going whether it's too late is open to conjecture.

Doncaster Phoenix v Burton HW Phoenix rising to clear the relegation zone.

Lichfield v Broadstreet AW Broadstreet to keep up their run for promotion

Luctonians v Bridgnorth HW Lucs to keep the pressure on 'Port. 'North have had their day this season

Newport (Salop) v Bournville HW Salopians to get back to winning may even play some 2nd teamers Wink

Nuneaton v Sheffield HW May depend on which Nuns play but just fancy Nuns to win at home.

Sandbach v Sunny Scunny AW Never an easy fixture home or away Scunny to keep keep on track.

No investment going on at Donny - it's the same squad we've had all season just got a few injuries returning, and the type of high risk rugby we play means we will pull the occasional 'shock' result off, but then also lose games we should be winning. Not great for supporters hearts, but great to watch if you're a neutral! Still no idea if we'll pull ourselves out of the relegation zone - we'll have to wait and see until after the next 4 games.

You would think that Bach are probably targeting Bournville(H) and Burton(A) on final weekend as all their other games are toughies but even two bonus point wins in those would only get them to 50 which hasn't been enough in many a past year and leaving it until the last Saturday surely isn't in anyone's plan so they need a big result against one or two of the top clubs. (starting Saturday would be ideal! Personally I'm glad we've got our 2 games against them out of the way) Not beyond their capabilities as they do seem to perform better in those fixtures - we will all remember their two victories over champions Bees last season
Donny will do enough I'm sure!

Yes agree there,Sandbach unpredictable but up to their necks in it so I have gone for the home win but still think the Cheshire Brigade will be visiting pastures new next season taking with them their wit and good humour.
