I understand the Guiness stance. The London Irish supporters have a huge female following and I wonder how they feel about the whole affair .

I was on the London Irish forums the about two weeks ago to look for their reactions to losing the Championship Cup, and I came across a thread on Paddy. The comments were about 80% very, very negative, and 20% "he was innocent so let him go". Several people mentioned that they'd given up their season tickets.

A very strange side note - Powerday (owners of Irish) recently invested heavily in the ground of Hanwell Town Football club, about 300 meters from Vallis Way, to the extent that the ground was renamed Powerday Stadium (it is NOT a stadium). Very odd.

Training venue for when they move to Brentford?

and looking at the site may be enough room for a stadium which I am sure is the LI long term aim at the end of the day.  Renting is daft as a good % of matchday income will go to Brentford

Its directly opposite Old Priorians. They have huge adverting opportunities facing the motorway. Their home games are fairly well attended , and from what I know its an established club. The guys who run it are pretty decent , I would be surprised if its used for anything but football.

They've got a brand new, state-of-the-art training complex in Sunbury.
