Oh dear HAC need to learn very quickly that the only tasty thing on offer in this league are the pasties at Cornish. Yum Yum.

Pasty far better than the result....but the game was a spirited occasion and Cornish deserved the win. Somehow we managed to gain ground on the last play which gives great credit to the team none more so than the debutants who made significant contribution on their introduction.

New blazer to be dusted off for next week Ranger, its a modern take on a deck chair but with more style...trust you will be similarly attired?

Best, Vuarnet

Predictions from me

Beckenham 0 v Cornish 5  -  Solid away win for the Cornishmen
Chi 0 v Westcombe Park 5 -  Whilst we cling on to half decent weather, the WP back line will keep firing
Darts 4 v Belsize 1  - Darts to bag their first win of the season in a tight game
H.A.C 4 v KCS 1  - H.A.C to scrape a home win
Medway 5 v Horsham 0  - Comfortable home win
Thurrock 1 v Camberley 5 - Camberley to keep their good form going and bag the 5 points
Cobham 5 v Havant 2 - Cobham to surprise Havant

Beckenham 1-5 London Cornish - Much needed win for the foreigners!!
Chichester 1-5 Westcombe Park - Another away win for Park in their chase for glory, far too strong for the Sussex boys.
Dartfordians 1-5 Belsize Park - I think the Northerners will continue to upset this league.
H.A.C 4-1 KCS - Is this an 8 pointer relegation battle game already, can only see a home win.
Medway 5 -1 Horsham - This will be a tight game with the old guard defending the home track.
Thurrock 0-5 Camberley - A comfortable away win.
Cobham 0-5 Havant - I can only see the forever bridesmaids winning at Fairmile.

Have a good weekend all!
Rucks and mauls may bust my balls, but whips and chains excite me!!

Cripes!left it late this week. Work gets in the way of everything....Just finished converting the wings on the pitch to paddy fields and setting up the sprinklers and floodlights to turn on whenever a ball rises over 30M , we will stop Westcombe wings running amok, bring your wellies lads!

Here goes then...
Becks v LC 0-5 Cornish are getting stronger.
Chi v WP 1-5 It will be good to see Rob again but a repeat of last seasons result will be tricky, even with my chicanery.
Darts v Bel P. 4-1 Its coming guys don't look too closely at the table yet.
HAC v KCS 4-1 Hear that HAC played well at Hav so they will edge this one.
Medway v Horsham 5-0 If Medway stay awake then this will provide a rude welcome to Level 6 for Horsham.
Thurrock v Camberley 1-5 two front runners one outcome but Thurrock will not go quietly.
Cobham v Havant 1-5 Havant will prove too fast at the curve this time.

To everyone, wish you all a fantastic day of rugby today and a safe trip to and from your event.

Best, Vuarnet

Becks 0 v 5 LC - A tidy side, Cornish.
Chi 1 v 5 WP - Hopeful
Cob 0 v 5 Havant - Blues to keep up the pressure.
Darts 4 v 0 BP - Could go either way.
HAC 0 v 5 KSC - starting too find their feet at this level
Medway 5 v 0 Horsham -No brainer ?
Thurrock 2 v 5 Cam - Will not be easy, and equally there could be an upset.
.
On my way for the battle of the blazers !

Don't think the punditery is my strongest suit if yesterdays results are anything to go by....
Bit of a suprise for Cornish and Havant, not going to change anything much at the season end I am sure, or now, maybe not so sure....
Good game at Chi in MHO and whilst we managed to stifle the speed merchants there is quality across the team so until we meet the likes of Camberley they remain my favourites...oops sorry went all Brucie for a mo! But nice to meet again WR to discuss the catering! Looking forwards to my trip to Westcombe later in the year.
Think will have to revisit plans for the visit from Becks post the Cornish result, will await Dickons report with interest.

Till next week.

Best Vuarnet.

Just a question, but how many bars last night were still going strong with 3 people on shift at 10pm?

I too look forward to your visit to Combe so that I can repay the hospitality extended to me. On the subject of food it definitely is good and is recommended to all who still have to visit. The choice of ale is also good, as was the company. Great to see Trublue, Gareth, and other stalwarts who I remember meeting last season. Best of luck until we meet again.

Report to follow, but in short we had a one-off chronic front v shortage on Saturday, and Beckenham took full advantage, taking most of our ball in the tight and good chunk at lineout time too! They deserved to win, and this game just demonstrated why we are recruiting more players (a number of whom are front v players about to/yet to move up to London).
