A game of the conditions really, and Brighton utilised it better.  Medway 12-0 up and half time going with the wind, Brighton scored more with the wind in the second half.

Medway certainly some questionable tactical calls against the elements, but Brighton the better team on the day.  Not dominant though I'd say Morgie Man - Brighton's scores weren't really manufactured from phase play, more capitalising on Medway errors, etc.  The majority of the game seemed to be between the 22s, with each team coming away with points during rare forays into the red zone.  Not to take anything from Bright at all; as I say, better team on the day.

Make's Medway's trip to Camberley next week all the more interesting, to which I will sadly not be able to travel.

All the chat about money getting a bit tedious again.  If you want to pay, pay.  If you want to insist that everyone who plays in your first team can see the posts from their childhood bedroom window, then more fool you.

Talking about covering up, Westcombe Park DOR is on 35k plus promotion bonus, money well spent for Level 6! Or can we not talk about this? Or do we only refer to players who have their own separate pay packages, for example your 10 who lives very very well thanks to your boys. Long may it last.....

Thanks Dickon for the excellent report which is a good read but underlines the frailties of many clubs this season in terms of injury. Resurgence in Chi? We'll await this weeks result before passing judgement on that. Certainly Cobham performed the double on us last season and have provided a stern test whenever we have met but they were missing a good number of their first choice players through injury or playing abroad, it seems to be a common complaint which afflicts us all. Wish them well for the remainder of the season and hope they weather the injury situation.

Best Vuarnet

So SirQ define idiot? Someone who knows Westcombe pay to play (£70 a game to be specific) since I'm that much of an idiot. The 10 on significantly more due to his glowing CV and coaching capability also.

Perhaps instead of throwing in multiple emojis and highlighting the demise of the forum, evolve and bring facts to the table. As to your reference to Kench, I believe you have mixed this with Kentishman. Again adding 1 and 1 to get 5!

So MCNRY, are you saying you are not Ian Kench ? If so why did that name appear within your profile details ? because it has done previously, but not now.

In response to an actual rumour, guess I'll throw in loads of emojis also and state how the forum has fallen without answering the question!

No I am not Ian Kench to answer your question.

Instead of digressing onto silly details, why not focus on the original point of your club paying players....

Now that you cannot make up!

Read previous posts on the matter. Noone has said we don't pay. Now let us all know why you have pretended to be the well-respected Ian Kench. It could have caused him some embarrassment.

Not sure where this has come from Westcombe Ranger! I assumed the confusion was between Kentishman

This forum is about Level 6 not a well respected individual. I for one very much enjoy this forum, until I'm branded something I'm not, whether that be Mr Kench or an idiot!

Your profile previously stated your real name to be Ian Kench and has been changed by you (nobody else can change such a detail) to NOT GIVEN. Am not the only person who knows this occurred. The hole you've dug for yourself is getting deeper by the minute.

Plus regardless whether he is or not, it is not morally right to "out" someone on a forum. Whether you agree with the person or not is irrelevant.

Shots flighing everywhere! Going to turn my hand to some predictions for this weekend
Brighton vs Chobham : can’t see past Brighton at home, especially as Chobham are putting out 4th team props - but at least they’ve played for the club since the age of 2. Brighton by 20
Camberley vs Medway: surely the fixture of the weekend! Camberley have a very attack focused game but Medway are hardened from a loss - Medway by 5-10
Chichester vs Sevenoaks : always back my club at home and with our form on the up (we must have started paying players) I think we will scrape in by a score
Dartfordians vs WP : Wpark willl be too good in the backs but could struggle up front if weather isn’t great! WP by 15-20
Havant vs totts : Havant to mash the totts - 15 point win
Cornish vs Hove: dispite cornish’s Never ending depletion of player to injury all Hove will come away with is an exceptional pasty and some cheep beers post match.
Thurrock vs cobham: Thurrock will dominate a relatively soft Cobham pack but if the cob backs can play it could be close! Thurrock by 7

This weeks predictions...
Brighton v Chob, home win think the Chob 4th team prop (ex 1XV) will have a bit of fun come scrum time.
Camberley v Medway, If Medway are at full strength will be a cracker, home win
Chi v Sevenoaks, tough one so 1st draw of the season in S1
Darts v WP, stick my neck out on this one home win.
Havant v Totts, home win just.
L Cornish v Hove, big home win.
Thurrock v Cobham, home win

And the other stuff....if your club are lucky enough to have a backer and can pay players good for you, I'm sure it's been going for years, but when they walk away from your club and players move on I do hope your club has a plan B.

Home game this week so, lunch, beer and rugby after three weeks on the road.

Havant Tony,
Looking forward to 5/1/19 at your place and the new pitch. Just over the hour on the train, so can also have a lunch & few beers.

Hopefully we will be a bit more used to the new pitch by then..looks like we'll need to be as you are going great guns and are my pick to win the league this season, hope the scoreline will be a lot tighter than our encounter at your place..our supporters had to drink your bar dry of harveys bitter to drown our sorrows that day🙁

My punt at predictions:

Brighton vs Chobham : Brighton by some margin
Camberley vs Medway: game of the weekend again.  Backing Medway to find a sting in the tail after last week's disappointment.
Chichester vs Sevenoaks : Sevenoaks win - Chi improving but Oaks look a tidy side.
Dartfordians vs WP : Could be very tight, but will go with WP to win.
Havant vs totts : Based on the Hampshire cup/challenge trophy/ceremonial ashtray game, Totts comfortably.
Cornish vs Hove: Hove's best shout of a victory, but Cornish will win.
Thurrock vs cobham: Thurrock improving from early season form, so will go for them to win at home.
