BP 4 v 1 KCS, BP home advantage, close game.
Cam 5 v 1 LC, LC showing a bit of form, Cam just a bit too strong.
Cob 1 v 4 WP, Close game.
Darts 4 v 0 Becks, not sure about this one.
Horsham 5 v 2 Havant, Game of the week. Big scores and a very close game.
Medway 5 v 0 HAC, Tough place to go for an away day.
Thurrock 1 v 4 Chi, Close game.
Looks like a wet on inside, wet on the outside day.

Team detail is out and Ben Polhill is Captain, be interesting to hear if there are any other 40+ year old Captains playing 1st team rugby after a 20+ year career? The "Honory Cornishman" (Dickon's words) is still leading the pack albeit without socks!

Here's to a great contest at Thurrock today and well done to all the stalwarts on the field today.

Best, VuarnetClap

And what a great game is was too. Hammer and tongs all the way thorough and in doubt right up to the end. Nothing left out on the pitch,, so well done to Havant.
The older I get, the better I was.

Sounds similar to the Oaklands game. Camberley were missing(?) players  so perhaps the result flattered us somewhat but we have an ability to raise our games when cast as under-dogs. Post match talk turned to MoM award and we had no real answer on an individual basis so maybe the whole team will have to take that plaudit.

Look forwards to the Christmas Cracker with Tony, still trying to find my cravat then I'll get my butler to give it some starch and press out the creases. One thing for certain if both teams play as yesterday it will be a fantastic occassion, still the no small matter of Belsize Park awaits next week, so not sure what team we will turn out for the Two Cities clash.

Happy Days! Must go, got to get my batman to tune the telly to Sale v Exeter, Toodle Pip!

Oh yes, and Tony if you don't want to be "Posh" you must travel down the A27 sitting on the right hand side of your charabang and return sitting on the left, port out, starboard home, old bean!
Hope to see for a beer of few afters.

Best, Vuarnet.

I agree that choosing a Chichester MoM match might be a little difficult after a great team performance.  However, I think it's worth mentioning Tom Allen who was excellent in a misfiring Camberley team.  However, I fear for Beckenham next Saturday...โ€ฆ.

Agree with your praise of Mr Allen but the young lad on the wing who scored your trys had a good game as well, is he new to the side? Elusive and quick pretty much summed him up. But as you say there will be a backlash at Becks and normal service will be resumed.....

Best, Vuarnet
