West Park seem to think that the three home RFU Championship Cup games, starting with Cornish Pirates on the 28th,are to be held at Bramhope, with WPL retaining the gate receipts.I've not seen official confirmation of that anywhere.

I have heard the same Fly Half, I have also been reliably informed that training has been very well attended . .  just not sure who the players are, hopefully not just students!!

I see. We shall wait for confirmation. Host clubs for on the road games have certainly kept bar and food takings in the past. They probably have gate receipts too but these wouldn't be much as most attendees were likely to be Carnegie season ticket holders.

West Park would make sense in terms of avoiding cost of buses but it's a pretty busy place already.

That's easy for you to say.

A great Yorkshire derby up at Wharfedale today against our friends from Otley.
Both sets of supporters and officials not particularly happy to see Yorkshire Carnegie scouts there (understatement of ghe year)

With 6 players signed up, you would expect that a lot of players are on trial and the Yorkshire coaches may be watching them in a game situation?

You mean trying to steal contracted players during the season by offering some of their RFU £530k gift instead of paying off creditors that are still owed 85p of every pound of the £6.6 million they owed. Perhaps Wharfedale and Otley could have paid the players a bit more where it not for the fact that they get sweet FA from the RFU apart from a newly required demand to contribute to Assistant Referees costs.
Lucky they weren't lynched.

So according to Neil Fissler.(TRP page 24) Leeds may be getting players from Bath.

Pretty sure it mentions if Mike Williams goes to Leedshire he'll come off Bath's salary cap.......great so I assume that means Bath can pay someone else to come in? Meanwhile players contracted last season at Leeds still waiting on payment. Madness.

Perhaps Leeds might get a Bit of help from Bath as current Leeds DoR is an Ex-Bath player

I think they call it back scratching or is it Bath scratching

Even if they can get 20 DR/Loan players surely they are not allowed to play them all in a match squad?

How can Leeds afford Mike Williams . . if he is coming off the Bath pay roll he has to be £100k minimum  , especially if Dave Ward was £185k!!! The madness continues
