A lot of things have been said on and off this forum in relation to the local derby between DMP and Blaydon this Saturday.

With the Newcastle Falcons playing in the A-League semi final at Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park next Monday night, Falcons Academy /dual registered players at the both clubs probably will not be available.

With Blaydon having considerably more than DMP, it will be interesting to see how that will pan out, as although Blaydon do have a very good second team, without the Falcons players (as I have said before, maybe 9 or more players), they will have to rely heavily on that second team.

I wonder if Mickey Ward can call in a few favours.

I wonder who DMP fly in to replace Seals this weekend if he is unfit, another South African or do you fancy and Aussie or Kiwi this time? Pretty sure Mowden make use of the DR system when it suits them also (Craggs, Socino, Coulson, Ferreira)

I'll see your Craggs, Socino, Coulson and Ferreira.

And I raise you

Witty, Connon, Chick, Dawson, Penny,Nelson and Stephenson.

I may have missed others out, but it I can assure you, it was intentional.

Tomas Appleton makes a lot of sense because he has played fly half in four internationals already this year for Portugal so, if he is fit, I would start him.

Do you know something that I don't about the transfer window?

I had a look at the Regulations. They remind me of EU Directives and I did not have the stamina to finish reading them.

Aunty M,
Bottom of the class again you missed out Foster, Dawson but Stevenson with a `v` is a Blaydon player and not DR`d although he is to be next season.

I believe Dawson and Foster are Blaydon born and bred, playing in the youth section then being signed to the Falcons, is that correct?

So you do have more than you've previously admitted to and now you're admitting it.

0 out of ten for you.

With a distinct lack of arithmetic, I hope you're not the Treasurer.

Stephenson with a 'v' is on the Falcons books/radar. Local lad to Blaydon, living at Yarm.

Makes sense (not) for a lad living at Yarm, to almost pass DMP and be placed at Blaydon by the Falcons powers that be.

I wonder how many rugby club's, Mowden player's pass,in their 7000 mile catchment area. I have no problem with this, if that is the way their club wish to go. But come on, reality check please!
Blaydon is not a long way from Cornwall, it's the other way around!

I think you'll find that some travellers from distant parts are less costly than their English counterparts and much less bother.

Check you out for reality !
