I see Scottish are over 80 per cent English. Presumably they get funding from Scotland too. My head is spinning.

Not the same thing at all. Richmond is also a 'football' club. The subject is nationality. We all(or most) know there were all sorts of shenanigans in the 19th century with rugby football and football.
