Scottish 4 Pirates 1 - LS should have won last week, I think that they will go one better this week, but it will be close.
Carnegie 1 Bristol 5 - Carnegie will score points, but Bristol will score more...simple really.
Roth 1 Jersey 4 - We know that Titans will be up for this game and it will be one that they would have targeted. However, Jersey do have a good defence and if we can up the performance from last week (shouldn't be too hard) the visitors could just sneak a tight one.
Doncaster 5 Bedford 2 - Usual Bedford try fest game, but Donny are better than recent results suggest. Thrilling home win for me.
Hartpury 4 Richmond 1 - I like the look of this game. Both sides playing with confidence, but Hartpury to win...just!
Nottingham 1 Ealing 5 - Game of the week. Nottingham are playing well this season (last week aside), but Ealing are a cut above everyone apart from Bristol.

I can but hope you are correct Brizzer - our downfall last weekend was not having a kicker who could find the goal, a hooker who could get the ball to our players and finally the inability to make the correct tactical substitutions at the right time. Apart from that and barely having a squad to piece together everything is great. Ouch

However, saying that I am sure we will turn the corner.
Onward and Upwards C'mon Donny!

Perhaps he is going for a super bonus points by predicting the actual score?  I think Titans will be closer than that score line though.

Coincidentally Roth scored 54 points the first time we went there, it was one of several 'baptismal' games at the start of our time in the Championship that showed us what a step-up it was. One consolation was 4 tries in response to claim our first point at this level.

I doubt there'll be 54 points scored in total at Clifton Lane this weekend - something lower-scoring, and closer.

ps I realise it was a JonDee typo!

London Scottish 4-1 Pirates I envisage a tight game. The Pirates DR players could easily see a narrow away win but IMO exiles are better than their league position suggests.

Leeds 1-4 Bristol A tight game with defences on top and YC could spring a surprise given the Briz stars playing elsewhere.

Titans 2-5 Jersey A tight game on a narrow pitch which given the midfield injuries in the squad may actually suit the visitors. Could easily be 3-3 or 5-2 as I expect both sides to go full out but the ultimate margin of victory to be 3-5 points. Weather looks good and very much hoping that both sides avoid the sort of injury we saw in this fixture last season.

Doncaster 5-2 Bedford Two good sides on an excellent pitch with a quality referee. If scheduling allowed I would have loved to see this as well as the match at Roth.

Hartpury 1-4 Mond Could easily go either way.

Nottingham 0-5 Ealing A difficult match but on current form I think Ealing will win by 12-15 points.

Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.

I was thinking that then realised the 'either way' comment negated the prediction.

Calling All Titans - My son is currently at university in Leeds, so is thinking about taking the train down to Rotherham for the game on Saturday, but has a couple of questions. Is the ground far from the train station? He is worried about missing the England game, so will you be showing the game 'as live' after the main event against Jersey?

Don't worry you Carnegie fans, as he is based in Headingly, so will be going along for your game on Friday night against Bristol (good concession BTW of just £5 for students...good job guys).

Thanks

It's about a 15 - 20 minute walk from Rotherham Central to Clifton Lane, but can't tell you about the rest.
