I seldom find time to eat after a game. My girth does not match that of Caldyboy.

I don't know about 3 north but the food provided at Blaydon this season was very poor. Small pie and pies.

Very nice shepherds pie at Tynedale after our recent cup game. Cant beat fresh shepherds. It was nice to renew a few old friendships  from 12/13 years ago and very hospitable too. They will be a welcome addition to National 2 next year  although Janner and co. might not be thinking so- hope Redruth dont get Blaydon and Tynedale in the same month, and likewise Redruth, Launceston and Mounts Bay for the Tynesiders!

Tall Person I'll ask Denise at redruth if she will do Cottage pie in honour of your visit  to Red land. Subtle distinction between cottage and shepherds. I think you'll like the food.

Janner, look forward to our visit as always, massive difference between shepherds and cottagers!! good to see your back on track down there and racking up the points- take it easy when we visit, you'll be comfortable in mid table by then !!!

Westcombe, will be down (today!), providing my alarm goes off in 5 hours time. never had any problem with beer running out at Redruth-wished it had a few times though judging by the hangover on sunday mornings. Will sample the Adnams with you  and hopefully put a face to the name.

Tall Person

Sorry I missed you but I did ask one of your supporters if he knew you and he said you hadn't travelled so didn't take it any further.Cracking game even though the result didn't go our way. With our pack and your backs we'd be unbeatable (lol)

Hi Westcombe, anonymity preserved! I was there and cracking game it was too!!  because we were late and we set off very quickly after the game i didnt have chance to speak to many people. Our supporters/committee would not know about this message board , ne=ver mind who tall person is!
Agree that our backs and your forwards would produce a championship  winning team!! Thanks for the hospitality and i did get chance to sample the beer, very nice too! A very good win for us after i thought we had snatched defeat from the jaws of victory with three minutes left, doesnt do my blood pressure any good.
Good luck for the rest of the season and maybe see you next season
